Seeing Egrorian, one begins to understand what Servalan meant when she said Travis was 'better than anything she had left'.

I think this is where Avon comes closer to how Paul Darrow envisaged the character in his own writings. |

It really is a stunning performance, especially those first ten seconds after Orac's declaration, where Paul conveys so many emotions without a word of dialog. . . Cockatoo? What Cockatoo? They could have made it jettisoning bits and pieces if Orac had just shut up. This need never have happened - so ergo, we have to blame Orac for this all.....

I'll admit to not being a fan of the Lucifer series of BF books, but I'm beginning to think Paul had it right. After these events, Avon's morale compass, if he ever had one, was totally destroyed.

Well, THAT made my day, not. This is a hard episode to watch, seeing Vila as just a throw away in Avon's mind. But think I guess we have to admit, that is the real Avon- he counts more than then anyone else.

I agree, on both counts. Anyway, fantastically dramatic episode with some good acting. Thanks for the rewatch and company, hope to be here for next week! Keep warm and safe! |
