But we'll get a good episode out of Tarrant being a prat in a couple of weeks. Be patient.

I don't mind them at all. I don't want them running on my face but we care for all our bugs and critters. Got the cutest young Blue Tongue lizard. It was curled up in the dappled sun/shade asleep this afternoon. Squee!

Lizards are fine.

Grin Tell us something we didn't know.

What I don't get is why our clever Avon, with his well-developed BS detector, doesn't get the message when Piri does all the exposition.

Cancer is very impressive.

He is distracted by despising Tarrant for being a prat?

Orb spiders, which are always slinging their hooks across the driveway or where you're planning to walk, get their webs carefully returned to where they were if we damage them. Couple of suckers at our address.

Commercial break: my friend Cygnus Bazza has written another of his books. This time he's exploring 'Historical Mysteries'. The back cover says 'From Troy to Tutenkhamun, Pope Joan to Prester John, the Knights Templar to some other people, there's simply no riddle that a little shallow knowledge and unfounded speculation won't elegantly fail to unravel."
You might find it fun. (Or annoying. Either way, he wins. He does know his stuff, and he's great at horrible puns).

Yup. I don't think you could frame Blake for chilld abuse either - even when it's quite clear that it's unfounded.

I was more thinking that you would have to show the others despising him and refusing to follow him until he had cleared his name.

The book - it's on Amazon - 'The Fairly Small Book of Really Massive Mysteries'.

And here's Servalan to enjoy being smug....

Who did the props for this episode? Surely Mat Irvine would heave made something that worked.

First failure of crab. That must happen a lot.

Hmmm, not sure. I like the spacecraft and I like the spider. The only problem with it is that it's not a crab.

Unthinkable - Servalan made a mistake! (But it was in the script so she had to).

And a genuine Avon smile to go out on.

I very much like how Servie speaks to various of her minions, and to our male heroes, as if she's the wife. Gives them a nice telling off.

Second, and fatal, failure of crab. If she'd only shot him, she would have been so much more successful,

The ships are fine. The spider isn't a crab and it isn't believable. But then, neither is Cancer. Maybe they should have picked a different Zodiak sign - Scorpio, for example. Oh, the irony.

That would have worked much better - and led to some nice confusions. (On the other hand, I rather like the idea of Sagittarius . . .)
