MsVirn are you suggesting the costumes are some of the best because, a lot of the time, Blake and Vila and wearing anything on top? ![]() Hardly. Nothing to get excited about there. I do like the dark red uniforms, though. I think they must have been specially designed by/for the Commissar since we never see them on any other Feds. Yes, I agree, and the "natives" are beautifully dressed. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Hello everyone. Sorry that I'm late - I thought I was in good time, but wasn't, and put the wrong DVD in by mistake. It's still horribly cold here - and intermittently rainy. I've seen some of Farscape, Pilot - I think it is acknowledged that Blake's 7 was a big influence. Hi AA |

Good thing Cally wasn’t affected and therefore able to treat Villa. Hi Tyce. About your earlier question, sorry, I don't know anywhere in London off the top of my head. I stay in a hotel I stayed in years ago for a conference. It's central and reasonable value. Any Airbnbs? Where are you staying in Steventon? Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

HI, Anne. Yes - COLD! We've had a touch of frost yesterday and today. Not good! The roofs of the houses opposite were quite white with frost yesterday morning, and there was hail just outside York yesterday afternoon. The plants in my garden have slowed their growth. I wish that spring would hurry up and arrive! |

I wonder how the Commissar came to be posted so far out. Did he offend his superiors, perhaps?

Get him lean slightly forward & pinch the top part of his nostrils for 10mins That should stop the bleeding. He's been known to go on for half an hour, easy. We're used to it. Been packed, cauterised etc etc. He just has a duff nose. I DID NOT HIT HIM. He made the apparently terminal mistake of blowing his nose, that's all. Is he on any medication? I had big problems with nose bleeds for a couple of years - then I worked out it was one of my meds. |

I wonder how the Commissar came to be posted so far out. Did he offend his superiors, perhaps? I think we're too used to the concept of centralised government. The Commissar doesn't have to be more than a regional functionary. Perhaps a reward for his academic work. The only way the Federation can really operate is with various levels of government. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

At one point she left us (I was with Stormy Petrel) minding her stall saying she needed the loo. Half an hour later she came back saying she still hadn't got there... "You're not sulking, I hope?"

The actors are well chosen, the set effects are excellent, so are the costumes. Plot thoughtful and endlessly topical. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Cally's telepathic powers are far more extensive in this episode. Do we think that they increase under stress, or is she hiding the extent of her gifts in other episodes? |
