Where does 'Windmills of your mind' come in?

Because the rewatches are now on their 46th cycle.

Ah, OK. From what Obsidian said, it seemed as though they played it at some point in the episode, and I couldn't remember hearing it.

Rapidly terminal is still dead, mate. She said dead or alive, remember? Discrediting Blake instead is a genius move.

Good old Blake. Mentally unbalanced, clearly. All he wants is to make a statement. Ha ha ha. Yes, Blake, we did do a brilliant job.

I’m not sure why it’s picking on Blake day.

Neither am I. He's confused and in an impossible situation, and he is just trying to get out of it. And of course his post-brainwashing self will have been programmed with a belief in Federation justice.

The man's a criminal! Deportation's too good for him!

Your support of the criminal Blake has been noted.

Nicely done, Jenna.

Ah, there must be 10 categories, with 10 the worst, if Blake's crimes are category 9.

AnneArthur
Idiot of a Tarrant, coming into court like that.

Perhaps he was told to? Maybe the authorities wanted to make sure he was seen to be involved. For reasons of their own.

Ah yes, that would work.

Jenna is awesome in episode 1. I mean she’s awesome in every episode but this one particularly so.

Do we know if anyone has written a fanfic on this Tarrant's story?

I was wondering that.

Varon's a bit thick, isn't he? Perhaps it's the drugs in his food, but if the administration is involved to this extent, why go to them with his suspicions?

Surely you should be congratulating yourselves on your propaganda? It's obviously doing a good job.

Nice to see that Henry Moore-type sculpture is still fashionable in the third calendar.

Back in fashion for the fiftieth time?

Thank you. That means a lot.

I’m going to have to let somebody else answer that because I as a rule don’t read fanfic.

Uncharacteristic of Vila to be at the front of any line. He doesn't look comfortable there.

M1795537OCVirn
Oh no! The ship has taken off. What hope for the rebellion now? Har har har

You're right. He hates being noticed!

You would be surprised. But yes, I suppose that a viewer would at this stage be expecting the story to focus in part on Blake's lawyer's attempts to free him - but no. We start as we mean to go on, with all hope shut down, and only the will to rebel still present.

M1795537OCVirn
OK, we'll have to see how this turns out next week. I think this series might just have something worth watching. Especially the sixth episode. Hope you have a good day, both. Thanks for your company.

And I have just learned that I haven't got a job I was applying for. I would say that things can only get better, but, as in Blake's 7, I suspect that they will be several orders of magnitude worse by next week.

AnneArthur
Have a good week, both of you.

Big Finish has done an audio with the character in it. I suppose that counts as fanfic - it's definitely not canon.

Not sure how the corridor numbering works - L37 opposite L34?

AnneArthur wrote: ↑

But it's SL34 - sublevel?

SL = Sublevel makes sense. Even if it doesn't, I don't see that having L37 opposite L34 isn't plausible. Just see the numbering down any street. Is no.37 in your road directly opposite no.38? There's a lovely humorous little discussion on the British system of naming and numbering roads (,lanes, avenues, etc) in one of George Mike's books; quite possibly "How to Be a Brit" or perhaps "How to Be an Alien".
