How negative do you want me to be? The blue people with costume lines round their necks? The Christmas cracker jokes? Worst of all, NO SERVLAN?

I should say it does have two things going for it.

I like the fact that Vila is the hero who saves the day. Even though it is in very weird and surreal circumstances.

And you have to admit the sex scene is nothing short explosive. LOL

What sex scene? If only!

These underground tunnels are one of the better parts of this episode. Are they part of the London underground?

Cool.
Camden Deep Tunnels an old Bomb Shelter.

Probus for what? (A Virn joke)
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

Responding to losing one person by splitting the remaining two up does not seem to be one of Avon's wiser moves.

M1795537OCVirn
Why don't they ever wear soft-soled shoes to avoid all the racket when they are sneaking about?

I also love that Avon just stands there and watches the Ultra drain Cally.

Well, Dayna's little bomb has put paid to any idea of sneaking.

How come only two Ultra are bald? The third one has blue hair.

Doncha geddit?
Maybe I should have said "Relf from PROBUS FOUR...." Probus for what? The writer had probably been trying to get that in somewhere fror ages.

Two weeks ago he watched the life drain out of Anna in his arms, knowing it was his own fault. Give him a break.

I have no idea. Were they perhaps once people? Taken from those whose memories have been wiped like the menials, but with a higher function? Perhaps they select for baldness.

No, I got it! Are you sure you are not Vila in disguise?

The BBC didn't pay the third one enough to lose all their hair for one episode.

Ha ha yes. I was sort of thinking something along those lines.

Amazing to think that all the pornography currently available on the web will have gone by the time this is set. A singular triumph for the Federation!

AnneArthur
You know her mind has been wiped, Dayna.

Ha ha, yeah, good point. Why didn’t they just check out some online pornography. LOL LOL

AnneArthur
Or perhaps the pornography is so diverse and so OTT that they don't believe it, and want an example of a more normal sexual encounter?

How do you know all this?

Why isn't Zen telling some System jokes? Why is it always ORAC these days?
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

Amazing too, that Vila only seems to know clean limericks.

I'm just speculating about how they seem to know so much about everything except sex.

AnneArthur
The menials also have a tendency to baldness - I think the core must have a thing about hair.

M1795537OCVirn
Tongue-twisters? For a machine with no tongue?
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

AnneArthur
And . . . it's the Dreaded Green Goo!

Tyce
I love her to heroes NOT run off and leave the two ladies behind.

M1795537OCVirn
It's about time they took Libby through the space Car Wash. Looking decidedly mucky today.

Nothing chivalrous about this lot.

Poor Vila. :-(

AnneArthur
Well, not in my top 10 B7 episodes - but, as always, more fun to watch together. Thanks for the rewatch!

M1795537OCVirn
The End.

Next time - one of my favourite scenes ever, between Vila and (who else) Servalan. Looking forward to it!

Unfortunately, I won't make Tuesday's rewatch as I'll be on a train on my way back from Aberystwyth, and I have a meeting on Thursday night, so won't make Star Trek either. See you next Saturday!

The ultimate anti-ship!

Thanks Virn and Anne Arthur for your company. See you next week.

Hope the handbag search and the interview go well, Anne.
Have a great week doing your ABBA things, Tyce.
Lovely to share the morning with you both.
