Weird hall and stairs arrangement. Looks like the building has been altered fairly drastically since it was built.

Weird hall and stairs arrangement. Looks like the building has been altered fairly drastically since it was built. I have a copy of the floor plan somewhere from when previous owners were attempting to sell. It only looks weird and disconnected from the filming. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Considering in The Way Back everyone lived in the Dome city, part of the extravagant cost to “reconstruct that absurdity” must’ve been the cost of those grounds, not to mention maintaining them! |

The High Council still spend a lot of time grumbling about the cost. Servalan claimed the Federation needed it to impress people. Also she likes the gardens.
