And Paul Shelley does it so well.

Come on, Blake. People numbers will recover whether you want them to or not. Replacing infastructure costs money. The Federation couldn't put up with people objecting to the rules. Solium is the perfect answer.

Korda is a good character, too, but he couldn't join the Liberator crew - Blake wouldn't tolerate anyone who was better at leadership than he is.

Bother, just when I was thinking good things about Korda, he goes and says something stupid. What's the coundown? OF COURSE it's getting closer... that's what a countdown does.

That should be fun. I was sorry to miss your short films - I intend to try a few some time.

Which sort of damps the Avon/Cally thing since neither of them notice.

One of the things I like about this ep is Avon's equanimity faced with a very real threat. Grant's ability is acknowledged.

Please do DUST is a great channel. Lots of variety so if you don't gel with the first one or two you see, be sure there'll be others more suited to your taste.

Do they not just put the suits on over what they are wearing?

Why do I always hear David Attenborough's voice in my head whenever we get a shot of the polar icecap?

No, no, no, no! Refuse to watch that drowning polar bear ever again.

Not that I don't like Mr. Attenborough. His son is very nice too. Seeing them interacting close up over lecture hall technology had to have been one of my best-ever experiences.

I think Ralli's lines would have been better the other way round, ie. 'That's Provine... that's the man I sent with Blake' makes more sense.,

Did we ever find out why they didn't just turn the device with the plungers upside down?

Yeah, Avon has the tiniest smirk there before having the last word. Del Grant proves that Avon is human is probably the reason he (Grant) is a popular character.

Possibly. I still think they'd have made a good double act. But that would leave VIla out in the cold.

That's what I was thinking although it seems unlikely. Probably cardboard boxes full of spares in a store room somewhere.

Exactly. The equanimity Avon shows in this episode doesn't fit with the snarky persona that keeps things bubbling along. Anyway, it would have been too many chiefs etc.
