This is a very exotic place Blake is in. Is it a botanic garden somewhere? Probably a studio somewhere deep in the BBC. And another 'historical ' note: the British accent, and the posher the better, rules throughout the Federation. Except Major Grenlee, of course. Token Canadian?

All the B7 aliens speak English, too, even if they take a minute or two to learn it, like Zil. I'd say Britain really did conquer the Galaxy ( - see my other favourite BBC sf series, Hyperdrive. Much under-rated!!)
