Apparently they're going to close our road for a few evenings next week (there is only one road, BTW). Rumour has it they are planning to mend things, but I think it more likely they will be trying to erase the huge white arrows Mr Virn painted pointing at our local pothole... Then brace yourself, here, first they said it would take a few days, now they say it will last until end of March. Thanks! Technically, your timescale is still 'a few days' - just a lot more of them. You have my sympathy! Whatever they're doing had better be worth it. It's about frost damage. The part of the country I live in didn't have frost for years, but this winter we did! You should see the pot holes here where we get icy cold or melting back and forth. The pot holes are like bath tubs! Resist the Host

PS if anyone wants to find out how the murderer got Stuart Fell onto the top of the cupboard, I’ll explain later. I said I would explain later and, as always, I will. 5-4-1-2-4 was women's shot-putt champion in the Space Olympics. Destiny finished 18th in the medal table. There's the explanation! Vote Og.
