Well, that's my Christmas viewing sorted. I've put a double ring round 'Dancing with the Masked X-stars' and 'Morecambe & Warg' and will set my Betamax video player accordingly. Superb job, Joe! Super-clever stuff! Now I know why M1 calls you 'the Milkman': because you always deliver. And early in the morning too! She doesn't call you 'the Postman' because mail's quite unreliable where she lives in the back of beyond the beyond. That's possibly a surfeit of information. Pitch-perfect start to December! |

Thanks CB! Originally it was just going to be the cover of The Visplay Times, with Kay Harker looking at Orac instead of the Box of Delights, but the photo of Peter Tuddenham behind Orac was perfect (once flipped). In one way it made things easier, but I think it destroys the idea of it looking like a magazine 'in universe' to B7. Instead it just looks like a normal RT or other magazine:![]() |

Very good JD. I’m particularly looking forward to watching Terrynation Street. All Terry Nation concepts in one street would be just awesome. LOL |

Blimey, Tyce. That's a tour de force. Or should I say tour de Tyce. Utterly sensational stuff! M1 - I'll get back to you with my answers when I've unravelled your multiple conundrums (conundra?). So around Christmastime. 2029. |

Tyce, that's fantastic. I really enjoyed it, and then to find out you it's your first foray into writing is amazing. You did a great job capturing the characters, and making it funny too. I especially liked how quickly Blake reverted to 'girls', the Discrimination/Harassment manager role, and that Cally's e-mail had emojis. As for her not drinking, I think that's because she's from an Auron sect known as the Cheggas. Apparently it's a well-known fact that Cheggas can't be boozers. |

The emojis were probably more me being overzealous - trying to make it sound like Cally was putting a positive spin on the situation. In reality it’s supposed to be all over the speaker system that can be heard all over the Liberator. The only bit that’s supposed to be written is the duty list. |

How do you do it, Joe? Master graphics manipulator. Tyce - brilliant! Glad you found a way to post it. And thanks, CB. Well worth waiting for! Maybe we should organise a Horizon singalong. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Maybe we should organise a Horizon singalong. Well, that'd add a quirky dimension to the rewatches. Actually, I did consider doing a story where Blake & Co. do a rewatch of Crud Club doing a rewatch. But I decided not to go down any Escheresque rabbit holes. For now. Edited by Cygnus Bazza on 04-12-2024 19:50 |

That was an intriguing and worthwhile experiment, Tyce. I guess AI will only get 'better' (whatever that means), for good or ill. AI-generated music, for instance, is pretty ghastly, but it'll 'improve' and get 'normalised' - even though, at the moment, it just sounds like music for non-musical people. In terms of the overall 'march' of AI, we will, of course, lose something in the process. But whether that, ultimately and arguably, leaves us in net debit remains to be seen. And will, of course, depend on individuals' expectations, perspectives, predilections, needs etc etc etc etc. |

Not a fan of AI stories in general. It is only able to autocomplete a Blake's 7 story because it has been trained on stolen Blake's 7 (and other) stories

It also infuriates me that it can be used to help people cheat with things like exams. I’ve never used it before and will probably never use it again. It was just a bit of a fun thing this once. I will say though that the fact that Jenna called Blake, Sir, left me in hysterics. |

It wouldn't be Fedmas without Vila's cracker jokes. Hope FedSanta brings everyone lots of goodies. And may we all have a more peaceful season than the Libby crew. Poor Blake, he was trying so hard ![]() |

There is so much good stuff in the Advent Calendar this year. Without wanting to single anyone out, I will say - Paula, I always look forward to your riddles. There are some really good ones there that I will share with the family. CB - Those song parodies are amazing. Accurate, funny, well written, and fitting the tunes perfectly. I stand in awe. Tyce - Love the cartoon, especially the pay off with what they are after and who sees them off. |

Virn - I think I have some of your (shall we call them) BLAKELE’S correct - but I’m still working hard on the others. Cygnus Bazza - Thanks for the great karaoke for my next karaoke night. Paula - fabulous jokes. Particularly like the Vicar the sheep and the sooty Santa. Brad - Thanks for your musical entertainment. :-) Virn and Travisina - so nice to hear from Travisina. Please give her my best. Paula - Love the photo. Hugbot - Nice story. Anne Arthur - Ha ha, very clever. :-) Edited by Tyce on 15-12-2024 00:41 |

It should look familiar to you; but within the story, it just served the purpose to identify the pub (scroll down a little to see a picture of the fireplace). Edited by Hugbot on 15-12-2024 09:12 |
