Travisina
Rewatch Australia: B4 Horizon
Saturday 23rd April 2022, 10.30am (UK) / 7.30pm (Australia)

In which we encounter an episode of rebels -v- Feds that for once does NOT feature Servalan and Travis. An insight into the more remote outposts of the Federation...

Hi, Boss. Ready and waiting. Just answering a couple of e-mails while I wait. How's it going with the big BF thing?

Hi MsVirn. How are things your end? At this end, Tyce was already well away this afternoon. I'm still on tea...

Talking about BF things, I was listening to a Crossfire story the other day where they kept referring to infarctions, instead of infractions. Does nobody edit this stuff Travisina? I know Crossfire is old now, but it seems like help is needed.

Things are edited and script edited and produced and directed... but in the end, it depends who's there on the day with the actors. I was irked that nobody corrected Michael Keating's pronunciation of 'Centero' in the audio novel (Heroes, I think).

Yes, I like them too. I want to do Cally's necklace but can never see it closely enough.

Blake is rushing in where angels fear etc.

The magnetic barrier sounds like lots of fun rattling metal sheets. We used to do that imitating Rolf Harris.Grin

I used to love sound editing - especially creating fx. An editor and I once spent a happy afternoon with our hands in a tub of water, creating FX for fish and fishing!

I once had to be a thunderstorm in a school production of 'The Tempest' - great fun with a big metal sheet in the wings, while my Physics teacher messed with the lights.

Fatigue, yes, but PTSD is how I'd diagnose it. I don't think such a thing existed in the DSM back in them days. If, indeed, the DSM existed.

It's been called different things over the years. 'Shell shock' was the term in WW1.
