MsVirn are you suggesting the costumes are some of the best because, a lot of the time, Blake and Vila and wearing anything on top? ![]() Hardly. Nothing to get excited about there. I do like the dark red uniforms, though. I think they must have been specially designed by/for the Commissar since we never see them on any other Feds. We never see any other Commissars - I think they are civilian, rather than military? |

I wonder how the Commissar came to be posted so far out. Did he offend his superiors, perhaps?

Good thing Cally wasn’t affected and therefore able to treat Villa. Hi Tyce. About your earlier question, sorry, I don't know anywhere in London off the top of my head. I stay in a hotel I stayed in years ago for a conference. It's central and reasonable value. Any Airbnbs? Where are you staying in Steventon? I’ve booked Premier Inn for 2 nights in Steventon. The 8th and 9th June. Many are staying there so you'll be amongst friends. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Get him lean slightly forward & pinch the top part of his nostrils for 10mins That should stop the bleeding. He's been known to go on for half an hour, easy. We're used to it. Been packed, cauterised etc etc. He just has a duff nose. I DID NOT HIT HIM. He made the apparently terminal mistake of blowing his nose, that's all. Is he on any medication? I had big problems with nose bleeds for a couple of years - then I worked out it was one of my meds. |

Hello everyone. Sorry that I'm late - I thought I was in good time, but wasn't, and put the wrong DVD in by mistake. It's still horribly cold here - and intermittently rainy. I've seen some of Farscape, Pilot - I think it is acknowledged that Blake's 7 was a big influence. Hi AA. If it's warm here it's got to be horrid over there. We're beyond ANZAC Day and that's usually our date for the weather to change. I have been told that climate change means milder winters and very unreliable weather in spring and autumn. |

Who's going to be at Steventon this year? I will be, but I fully expect Diane will find things for me to do all day, like last time. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I wonder how the Commissar came to be posted so far out. Did he offend his superiors, perhaps? I think we're too used to the concept of centralised government. The Commissar doesn't have to be more than a regional functionary. Perhaps a reward for his academic work. The only way the Federation can really operate is with various levels of government. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

At one point she left us (I was with Stormy Petrel) minding her stall saying she needed the loo. Half an hour later she came back saying she still hadn't got there... "You're not sulking, I hope?"

The actors are well chosen, the set effects are excellent, so are the costumes. Plot thoughtful and endlessly topical. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Cally's telepathic powers are far more extensive in this episode. Do we think that they increase under stress, or is she hiding the extent of her gifts in other episodes? |

The stress seems a distinct possibility – other than other script writers not knowing what to do with her. Perhaps, being an Auron, her telepathic powers are boosted by others. Ro says that some of his people have telepathic powers - perhaps they enhance hers? |
