Start times: S Hemisphere 7.30 pm (plus one hour, making it 8.30pm. Apologies.) N Hemisphere 09.30 am. Round like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel Never ending or beginning on an ever spinning reel Like a snowball down a mountain, or a carnival balloon Like a carousel that's turning running rings around the moon Like a clock whose hands are sweeping past the minutes of its face And the world is like an apple whirling silently in space.... need I say more? Someone has invited a man to a meeting. It means going Outside. If this sounds dodgy to you, then it probably is, but the man doesn't realise it (he isn't particularly bright) and he goes along with the plan, which leads him into all kinds of trouble with the authorities. Then he starts remembering that he's been in trouble before.... Why not join us back where it all began? Edited by M1795537OCVirn on 06-01-2024 09:32 "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Then he starts remembering that he's been in trouble before.... Why not join us back where it all began? Please, no. I hate that song. Always have, since it came out. Perhaps that's what they played over and over to Blake. It would have driven me stark, raving bonkers, that's for sure. All that unnecessary metaphorical BS. Sob. The lyricists say the lyrics had to be "a mind trip of some kind." Yep, the Feds definitely played it to Blake. Sob, also, because I can't make it this evening/morning. Have to got to the annual birthday 'do' at a friend's place. I might have skipped it but for the fact we have to go to a 'come and undress my Xmas tree' thing beforehand. It's really so that she doesn't have to do it herself. Let's see how many of us just sit and drink fizz and refuse to remove an ornament. I hope you're all getting off to a good year. I'm trying but could still do with a month of catch-up sleep. Will hopefully catch up with you all next time. xxx Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

The Federation thanks you, Obsidian! Now we know exactly what to use during your interrogation. Assuming we do catch up with you eventually.

One minute to go, and I'm all alone here. Am I surprised? Not really. Obsidian's out partying, Travisina can't make it (although she almost did!) and the rest of you are just realising what time it is.... or maybe I'm watching this on my own?

Sorry I messed up the time. I've changed it now, but that isn't going to help anyone who was here an hour ago. Rats. Fine, thanks. Cold and frosty here today, but at least it's not raining. How is it with you? "You're not sulking, I hope?"

But then I noticed there were no comments. So I assumed it was just the typo. Shall we leave at our usual five minutes, of which already three minutes have already gone. Starting in 2. |

Not sure how the corridor numbering works - L37 opposite L34?

'Let's get on with it' - Blake's first stupid decision, knowing full well he's committing a crime.

Just for a minute I thought the ladder might stop the guy with the limp (clearly a baddie) but no. Like when the daleks learned to hover to get up stairs.

What do you think a category 4 crime actually is? Perhaps 5 categories, with category 1 the worst, so that 4 is still fairly minor? |

Hello Anne. So sorry to hear about your Mum. Does this mean you'll need another trip to Edinburgh?

See, in their benevolence the Federation allowed them to emigrate to frontier worlds. Not our fault the authorities out there disapproved of illegal immigrants. Or possibly they met up with Vargas on a bad day.

Rapidly terminal is still dead, mate. She said dead or alive, remember? Discrediting Blake instead is a genius move.

Good old Blake. Mentally unbalanced, clearly. All he wants is to make a statement. Ha ha ha. Yes, Blake, we did do a brilliant job.

I’m not sure why it’s picking on Blake day. Neither am I. He's confused and in an impossible situation, and he is just trying to get out of it. And of course his post-brainwashing self will have been programmed with a belief in Federation justice. |

Ah, there must be 10 categories, with 10 the worst, if Blake's crimes are category 9. |
