Avon being good in a crisis this week... maybe because it's not his neck on the line!

First time I've had the feeling that both Avon and Zeona already know this is a suicide mission.

Zukan and Zeeona almost seem to have a psychic link - she feels his death!

I don't think he'd stress about chucking Tarrant out the airlock the way he did Vila.

The most disturbing Avon smile of the entire series.

What are the odds of a fully trained tech accidentally taking off her personal protective equipment before checking for the all clear?

It's not a suicide mission. She took the glove off delibarately, despite as a scientist, knowing what would happen. She committed suicide when she could have survvied. The question is: had Avon picked up whether she would do that. And if so, that smile...

Obviously not trained!!

Well, that was a downer, but I am sure next week's episode will be uplifting enough to make up for it.

Kryten would probably think Zeeona is looking quite well (late obligatroy Red Dwarf reference).

Because she is ashamed of her father's treachery? Because, deep down, she knows that Tarrant doesn't really love her?

Guilt. Watch as she regards her dead countrymen.

Possibly she's still in shock over the psychic force she seems to feel when her father dies.

Tarrant is too blinded by love to see it. But what about Avon?

There's a distant star...

Great episodes (one of my favourites, actually) and a great rewatch. Thank you all for the company!

I don't know whether I can make it on Thursday. In any case, have fun with the final episode! Good night and nice dreams of photocopiers! Frown

Paula
Well, on that happy note, I'll say goodbye. I can't be here for Blake on Thursday, but I expect everything will be fine in the end. 'Night all.

Another great episode (but they're all great by this stage) - see you on Thursday.

So Servalan is off to pastures new...probably sending her crack marksmen to Gauda Prime, where she has another secret cunning plan going on, in case the chaps stationed there can't shoot straight.

Shock over her father's betrayal and death?

But I like B7 is still treating its intelligence with respect and letting them work out things. It's not explicitly stated "she killed herself". But it deosn't have to be. We know she's a specialist in this area and we know she's fully aware what would happen if she removed her glove.

Guilt. Watch as she regards her dead countrymen.

But she is a scientist. Her death would serve no logical purpose. I get what you say but I don't find it reasonable. **scratch head emoji**

Back to wrapping Christmas presents - boxes of chocolates for OTHER PEOPLE. Sigh.

Great rewatch, though. 'night all.

I acknowledge your reasoning but it still doesn't seem reasonable to me.

Human emotion is often not logical. Especially when grieving.

In that respect, the story reflects real life with all its peculiarities. TTFN

Well IMO, it's only a 9 when the last three have been 10, but I still really like it!
