Reeve would have made an interesting character alongside Servie for a few episodes.

Ha ha ha she'd have him for breakfast!

No match for her, of course. But at least he doesn't toady to her, like the rest of the Federation.

Don't you love the way Servalan ignores poor old Reeve trying to impress her with how big his gun is!!

Reeve is one of my least favorite B7 characters and I'm thinking of Piri and Governor Le Grand in the mix too.

The fakeness of the studio somehow works in this episode's favour.

I bet poor Prell is cursing the Federation costume designers. If it weren't for these pesky shoulder fins, he could wear that cumbersome container as a backpack instead of heaving to carry it by its straps.

I was just thinking that. I wonder how many hundreds of pounds of green sand did they have to make? buy? and shovel up at the end.

This is a Servie episode, that she lets the crew of Scorpio be in.

The sand really works as an effect, I think - nicely creepy, and relatively inexpensive, I imagine.

We have been lucky enough to have met Peter Craze once and his brother Michael Craze years ago, Ben from Ben and Polly in Doctor Who.

Such fun for the crew doing the clearing-up. Hope they didn't leave any sand lying about at the BBC....

Because it's Tarrant.

foreshadowing I hadn't noticed before.

Reeve swoons as soon as Tarrant teleports down, because now Reeve is no longer the alpha male. And Tarrant is affected when Dayna teleports away, as now there is a surplus male.

For Woman in the Moon, Fritz Lang had 30 train carriages of Baltic sea sand transported to the studio in Berlin. As it arrived wet and grey, they had to boil it to give it the right colour.
