Avon's smile shows just how charmed he is.

He knows a flim-flam man when he sees one.

Hi AnneA!

Actually, it's very depressing, which is what it's meant to be.

Like the whole of Blakes 7 really - they do wonders with bleak quarries, bleak industrial plants, bleak . . .

Yes, one wonders why he hasn't charmed his way into a proper job. Filth isn't his style.

Bleak's 7, though this had been said before. UK politics at the time were very mean, nasty and bleak and it shows.

It's only been a couple of days and I'm running out of party supplies already. Yes, I'm all alone here with a dog, three cats, several sheep and the hens. Completely alone.

I have a vision of the sheep and hens pressed against the windows, staring in menacingly . . .

Xenon Base is ultra-bleak.

I can't imagine what a set reflecting current UK policies would look like! Superficially flashy, but everything falls apart at the first touch?

Soolin is looking lovely, as they say . . .

I've long been fascinated by Dayna's gloves in this ep. I love gloves and notice that she keeps them on. They won't stop her from getting a cold in her chest...

So you see, I really need these rewatches! My only human contact... apart from several phone calls and a visit from my son who 'just happened to be passing, so he thought he'd say hello'. Honestly, you'd think they didn't trust me.

With lots of nasty little intrigues and deals going on behind the scenes. Now where have we seen that before?

If anyone recognises the glasses, please let me know. They look like 1980 Habitat but...

Quite a few things still to add to Vila Restal's Compendium Of Blake's 7 Barware.

I think they're more probably Woolworths. This is a show on a budget, after all.

Again, the red accent is very eighties. I have a whole collection of kitchen storage jars with red lids.

Oh, before I forget, Travisina sends her love. She's still with us - just. Lots of real life going on atm, but she is managing to keep her head above water.

Not so. Most of the glass ware is top-of-the-line Scandinavian/Nordic and British art glass. Just like all the VERY expensive MCM furniture.

Speaking of Woolworths, that’s probably where they picked up those glasses with the red lines on them, they were obviously cheaper by the dozen.

See above. The glassware was and still is, very expensive art glass. The cheapest I've clocked is the Ravenhead Fiesta glasses used by Servalan's "powder poof" in Freedom City.

In his spare time, Dorian seems to have altered the outfit Tarrant has changed out of to make one for himself.

Why doesn’t Dayna just stay right near the entrance, and as soon as Tarrant opens the entrance, she could duck out?? Am I being picky tonight?

That would be far too sensible - and it would ruin the plot.
