It's written so well, and you really get a feel for what Federation life is like and you feel badly when these two get gunned down. I guess it isn't all black and white in Blake's 7.

I’ve only been through the series a couple of times. I just discovered it a couple of years back when a sci-fi writer friend mentioned how much he liked the ending. Took me a while to find a way to watch them all here in the US.
