45th Anniversary rewatch - B3 Weapon

Alpha Grade Posts: 9299 Joined: 16.01.22	The episode: Barney Three - Weapon (Carry On Mister Smooth) The date: Tuesday, April 18th, 2023 The time: 7.45pm UK time In which Travis has a new costume and a new eyepatch – I’m sure something else is different as well. A new hairstyle, perhaps? Maybe we can figure it out during the re-watch. Also, Cally becomes Teacher’s Pet, while Servie is more devious than ever, and Avon’s worse nightmare comes true - there’s THREE Blakes in this episode. And there's high collars galore and even a Siberian hamster! Episode in a word: IMIPAK! Character to cheer: Mister Smooth, who apart from his extreme arrogance, comes across as a relatively decent chap. He certainly manages to charm Servie. Character to boo: Clonemaster Fen seems to have some sort of God complex. It’s not attractive. Is Soolin looking lovely this week?: Yes. Recognisable Face: John Bennett (Coser) played Li H'sen Chang in the “Doctor Who: The Talons Of Weng-Chiang” a couple of years before this. That’s right, he played a Chinaman, complete with yellow make-up. He did a pretty good job too, but you’d never get away with doing that nowadays! Best line: “Auron may be different, Cally, but on Earth it is considered ill-mannered to kill your friends while committing suicide.” Blake's 7 will return in… Carry On Space Primitive. Vote Og.
