Up until this episode, both Hubby and I were convinced that Avon was a very highly advanced Android put there by the Feds to keep an eye on Blake. That, we thought, explained his total lack of emotion. (Although in Avalon we had an idea about his feelings when he found Cally injured.) The interesting thing is, in the novella Project Avalon, it isn't Avon who goes down, it's Blake and Meegat doesn't get a look in. I understand, from LIberation, that it was a last minute idea to change the script. I think I read it there. I'll have to find the book and check that. Anyway, thank you for a lovely rewatch.
