And we learn that mutoids can stand dormant until reactivated.

Avon is something of a cat - doesn't like the cold.

Not a Maine Coon then. Ours love the cold. But they have the appropriate clothing.
Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

I pity the poor stuntman who had to fall into the water.

Some of the subterrons are really going to town with the face masks.

They're great. What this shows of them is rather scary.

Thanks Obsidian. Good to see you too. Hello Louella!

Next time we get round to this rewatch we can all read the novelisation instead. Travisina's got her set, apparently.

It's only fair. She did play a (small) part in creating it.

Obligatory Goons reference.

Agreed. Not my idea of fun. And in a furry coat too. A big wet, heavy, furry coat.

So can I, but that doesn't make me a mutoid.

Hi JD, Nice to have you onboard.

Hi Tyce! Glad to hear the ABBA-adventures are continuing.

Hello, AnneArthur.

Ah, the matching crew parkas.

AnneArthur
Is there any sic-fi tv series/film in which valuable minerals are mined using machines. rather than slave labour?

Absolutely.

Love how the mutoid has to zig-zag down that corridor.

Travis doesn't mind the suggestion that he isn't going to end the rebellion - he enjoys his job!

WHy would you? Machines need maintenance.

I rather like this base.

But could be more efficient?

Service here keeps dropping out. No idea why. Grrrr!

Travis has become determinedly single-minded, not just single-eyed.

Yes, there's a lot of detail to it. It's not just one room.

About those matching crew parkas... were they in the Liberator's wardrobe section, or did they have to buy/make their own? And presumably Jenna and Cally would be given the job... and having only one pattern to work from makes this more likely.

Yes, mine did too a moment ago.

Possibly crocodiles chewing through the NBN cables again.

Agreed.

Once he gets past the histrionics, Vila is very forceful in this episode. He is in the next one as well.

One of those guards was almost in her way! Servalan had to swerve round him.

Ooh, juxtapose Vila's "I'm tired of being indispensible" with Blake & Avon's line in "Blake": "No one's indispensible."

Vila with his electric blanket suit.

That sounds rather unequal. I'm sure the men did it. (See also: Gunn-sar.)

Oh dear. All good here on Lindor. :-)

Someone struggled to sew the zip in the back of Servalan's frock. That sort of fabric is awful stuff to keep straight in a sewing machine.

Avon and Cally giving each other very ship-worthy looks.

Obsidian
If Travis hasn't worked out yet that he's being set up for a fall, he's not as smart as I thought. It takes him a whole other series.

Neither do we, at least since the crocodiles ate it.

I love Servalan dropping her fur coat and the mutoid picking it up. Also how she has managed to get two male mutoids to serve her, when they are mostly female.

Yeah. It's very slidey. You need a differential feed.

Male mutoids... see, even equal opportunity for the mutoids.

That guy's eyebrows are fairly bushy though.
