Only when they've been vapourised back into stardust, surely?

That's a horrible thought!

The first time I watched this I really thought Avon and Soolin had died.

Oh no, that's not good. Good thing they reappear in their lovely matching silver boiler suits. I want one! I do like how Avon wears his studded belt on the top.

Always stylish!

Butit's a tribute to the series that I ddin't automatically think 'They wouldn't kill them off'.

It is. They scared you that much. Did you know it was the last-ever series?

I think so - so the gloves were off. Not that they had ever really been on - Cally, Gan etc.

It gets steadily bigger and bigger. Good thing the series ended when it did.

The coffee-stirrer was a brilliant idea. I don't mind the trays either. There is something about objects en masse that is so attractive. An artist whose work I saw in Basel did a couple of things with erasers. So wonderful!

In our village pantomimes, it's a running joke that we try to spot what Karen (costumes) has re-used each year, and what it started out as originally - someone's curtains that they donated to us etc etc.

Curtains are perfect. The fabric is often far more exciting than dress fabric.

I don't think there's a problem with all the crew knowing that the 'cruise' is a fake. The doctor would have to know about the drugs the passengers are given anyway.

His very first scene. I think he's in the same outfit all the way through until 'The Web', when he shows off his new one to Cally (with unfortunate results).

That is such a good episode. I'm not sure if I'll be around next week - my brother and his partner are coming to visit, and they are very much morning people. I'll try to suggest that they turn up at 11, but I doubt I'll have much luck in getting them to stick to it.
