Rewatch Downunder Saturday 19th September C12 Death-Watch
M1795537OCVirn
Starting at 7.30pm Downunder and 10.30m UK

C12 Death-Watch
In which Tarrant displays two hairstyles, neither of them particularly fetching. We're not fooled for one minute. but everyone else is. Except possibly Servalan, who survives her second snog with Avon despite having her plans ruined by his intervention. No sign of Blake or Jenna in this interstellar version of 'Gladiator'.

Two Tarrants!! *Tyce blushes and faints*

You’re so very wrong, though Virn about there being no Blake or Jenna in this episode. This is the week they return, destroy the Federation and live happily ever after.

With the return of Blake and Jenna and not one but two Tarrants I can’t believe I have to say what I’m about to say…….

I’m going to the Roller Derby LOL one of my friends wants to head to the Roller Derby for his birthday, so devastatingly I’m going to have to miss this episode. :-(

And next week, I’m in Adelaide (for yet another ABBA weekend). Which is both awesome and devastating because I miss the end of season three. :-(

See you all on 3 September for the start of season four. :-)

Rollerball or Rolleregg? Orange team or Yellow team?

What a shame you'll miss the scene where Avon and Tarrant go to Teal and stop in at the perfume counter at Boots*.

You're having fun with the images Joe. Actually, why are the Rollerpeople wearing so much gear? In the past, they all (women included) tended to be rough and tough and wore minimal cossies.

Well, the site is still there, despite being threatened with it disappearing. They were just trying to gouge more money from me. So it's sorted for now.

Good evening viewers!

Hello Ms Virn, Obsidian, cashaverre and Jake.

Obsidian
This Tarrant is very fresh-faced. Interesting that Steven Pacey never seems to have worn his hair off his forehead. I understand, of course, But he looks rather charming like this.

It's a pity they forget to add the stars in again when we return to the starship set.

Of course, if you listen to these over and over you recognise one of the two pilots and the offscreen viscast director are Max and Vinni.

Vila's obviously laid in a cellar. He's moved beyond the adrenaline and soma.

I have most of that glassware, but the Lalique glasses in the back there with the mint and lemon are a tad expensive.

Hello everyone. Glad to hear that the website is sorted, even if only temporarily, Obsidian.

I've now got my boiler sorted, although that is likely to be temporary too - the engineer says that I will need to get a new one when it goes again, which will probably be in a year or two. Still, I have central heating and hot water for now - although it's such a warm autumn that I haven't needed heating yet. Most unusual - I can remember needing the heating in mornings from the end of August.

I'd say it was a tad beyond rude, verging on the hostile

As with the time when Michael Keating is traffic controller.

Yes, it's weird this year. We still have swallows here, and they've usually gone south by the middle of August. Good news about your boiler, though

Tarrant, Cally, and Dayna's costumes are excellent in this. Avon's outfit is pretty good but for the black pudding storage.

It's really bizarre when they use the main cast to do it. Peter Tuddenham does a PA announcement in Traitor.

You could have some of our heat. Everything is flowering at once. We'll be in drought and fires in no time.

'Black pudding storage' - that's a very good description. It does rather spoil it.

A good description, but I really love the outfit, and all the costumes in this episode. Rocky Knickers was inspired going with the matador theme.
