Well, well. That's some 'twist' OSP. So they are convicted criminals, on a fancy space ship, and there's six plus an android. How interesting, But I'm still not sure how they worked out that they were the death squad. Could they not just as easily be criminal gunrunners, sending weapons to the miners? Why would miners need weapons? As they said, to fight for their claim against the death squad (we are jumping straight to Gauda Prime here - but this time next week they'll all be dead!). They learnt that the death squad were coming to evict them, so they arranged to buy weapons from Hrothgar's people. What - the Hrothgar from Final Fantasy 5? "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Also note that the ?telepath does not seem to be one of the criminals - shades of Blakes 7 again . . . |

I was thinking of Hrothgar from Beowulf, actually - and i was being mischievous, as the subtitles were spelling it Rothgar. I think it is an early form of the name we know as Roger, so we could just call him that . . . |

OK, by popular demand, I'll set up episode two for next Thursday. It'll be the same link. Definitely interesting so far. But I was right about the guns and the fighting. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I think it has potential, and I might continue watching it whether we watch it together or not. |
