How is Tarrant going to check they've searched 'every possible place' on a ship he doesn't know?

Hello everyone, sorry I'm late. I have a pain in my hip that makes standing or sitting agony, so I think I will go back to bed afterwards. What on earth have you done to yourself? So sorry you're in pain. Didn't stay up to watch the general election, apparently. It started last Friday, got better over the weekend, but worse again over the week. Sitting at my desk is the worst. I went to the doctor yesterday, and they thought it was arthritis - it wasn't too bad then, but since last night it has got worse and won't go away. |

This nurse looks just like Fiona Fullerton in "Angels". Same vintage. You can tell what I was watching in my last year at uni.
Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

9m: Vila is confronted by a man in basic clothing and a spear Vila: It's not that I'm a coward or anything. It's just that I have a very low pain threshold. Hardly a threshold at all, actually. Is there anything better than a pasty classically trained UK theatre actor standing around a freezing English park dressed like a caveman? It's the ambition of it I like. I wonder if he preferred this, or being Lando Calrissian's air traffic controller? |

Watch it, nurse. Servalan doesn't 'settle in' anywhere. Especially not when someone tells her what to do.

14m: Cally wakes up on a rescue medical ship Such great script writing to just throw the characters up in the air like this. Also a special shout out to the awesome nurse costumes. They do give off an evil vibe but most viewers probably write it off as just futuristic. |

16m: Great "small set" acting by Cally and Servalan to not see each other about one metre apart |

This doesn't look like Bamburgh beach - how did Servalan get so far from the Mellanby house? |

The production values on this episode are pretty good. The costumes, the medical ship VFX, the red duct that Avon and Dayna are crawling about... it feels "big" |

I really love this early Dayna. She's delightful. The script perfectly reflects her age and experience and Josette projects it beautifully.

Avon is getting Blakitis - refusing to answer direct questions for no good reason. |

Have you noticed that Tyce has gone quiet now that Mr Curly's not on screen?

22m: Avon and Dayna hide back in their prison room. Avon is deadly serious tonight! It works, the hunted has become the hunter. And then it cuts to Vila being actually hunted by those glowing robot drone things that turn out to be beautiful women with scanners. The SFX for those scanner things is terrifying. Also I LOVE how they treat Vila like a wounded bunny rabbit and he totally just is, completely unaware lol |

27m: Cally lays some truth bombs on Servalan Servalan: You and Blake and all the other traitors from the Liberator will be dealt with. Cally: Avon? Servalan: We met, briefly. Cally: Then he's alive. Servalan: The condition I hope is purely temporary. Edited by dodgyville on 13-07-2024 10:06 |

27m: Cally lays some truth bombs on Servalan Servalan: You and Blake and all the other traitors from the Liberator will be dealt with. Excuse me? Shouldn't that be the other way round? Servalan laying bombs (it comes naturally), truth or otherwise, on Cally, nurses, whoever's in charge on Chenga etc etc "You're not sulking, I hope?"

This might be the episode with the biggest "run around inside the Liberator" we get |

Barr is barely recognisable as Avalon. Shows what a good wig and helmet can do.
