Likewise. Getting back to RL is even harder after a good episode like that one. Take care, upside-downers, and Anne - hope things improve asap. Perhaps all that sitting doing indexing hasn't helped. Thanks for a great start to the weekend, "You're not sulking, I hope?"

What do people generally think of Tarrant and Dayna compared to Blake and Jenna? Hmm, where to start? Dayna rates well but under-utilised. Jenna rates well but under-utilised. A lot of people seem to either love or hate Tarrant. Some of us are nauseated by Blake but acknowledge that that's the whole point: to have contrasting characters. Some just loathe him

OK, thanks for the rewatch - nice to get away from my problems and into someone else's for a change! It's raining here - as it has been most of the summer - and the heating in my house came on this morning. Don't think that helps at all! |

It's raining here - as it has been most of the summer - and the heating in my house came on this morning. Don't think that helps at all! It sounds a heck of a lot like something I had and ended up in a shrieking heap in A&E twice. No-one knows what it is. Only strong pain killers for a couple of weeks shifted it. It returns when least expected. Make sure you don't have a slipped disc or similar. Mx Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

It is a strange show sometimes, I can't always tell if it's good or bad but it is always awesome. It's completely awesome. Blake and Jenna were written mostly by the same person – Uncle Tel. Despite Chris Boucher's efforts keeping things in line, the chopping and changing of writers in Series C and D does make a difference to the consistency of characters, though they follow a general trajectory of increasing stress which feeds nicely into the conclusion. None of them is superfluous though, and I rate all of them. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Much later...Re dodgyville's question: Tarrant/Blake and Jenna/Dayna? I don't think the new actors were given (or took) enough space to develop into something other than replacements, although Tarrant is clearly NOT leadership material and Dayna doesn't have the right hair**. Plenty of room for Tarrant's 'decorative and resourceful' character to liven things up, notably with the outraged male friends and relations of the juvenile females he 'encounters' (and I don't mean just Zeeona's dad). Dayna could have been a lot more interesting if she'd continued to jump in with both feet and a blaster (or other weapon of choice*) and joyfully create difficult situations that the others then needed to sort out. *She could have continued to design new ones, too. ** mind you, Yasmin's hair is amazing, and could definitely replace Jenna's. (Oh - and your Liberator game/site looks fun, too,. Great stuff). "You're not sulking, I hope?"
