Actually, this is a type of heating device that really exists. I once had to translate a product brochure for one of the manufacturers.

But they aren't in space. They are on a planet!
I look behind me, what do I see? A pair of golden wings seem to be attached to me.

It must be hard working in a hotel ice machine!

Four thousand miles to the ice cap. It would seem to be a vary spacious planet.

She didn't want to have to explain to Grant why the tea wasn't done.

Let's get our high-tech drill with lots of plastic bits glued to it.

YES! If you stop pratting about

The take we see here is not the first. Check out the fine bits of plastic already on the drill bit when Avon starts to enlarge the hole!

Thank goodness the roof caving in didn't break those skinny 20 gauge wires.

My brother has just said (almost) the same thing! I'll make a B7 fan of him yet!

Mechanical engineer would simply use the drill bit.
Computer tech looks for the proper rod.

Just use the drill bit to block the plunger!!!

Blake: You're welcome to come with us.

Grant: I've got a hefty fee to collect, and besides, I left Jenna my address on Morphaniel.

But they have to prat about, otherwise they will get it done before the countdown goes all the way down - and in a story of this type, the countdown has to go down to at least 4.

Blake's smug chuckle at the end... Shock

Perhaps the viewers weren't quite so savvy (almost) half a century ago?

Or they just hadn't already watched it a dozen times and more?

I wouldn't normally mind but there was too much fiddling about throughout the episode sadly

Greast episode and great rewatch - thank you all for your company! Good night and nice dreams of funny, handsome ginger mercenaries! Frown

Paula
And next week, from the sublime to the ridiculous- Grant to le Grand. And on that note, I'll say good bye. See you next time. Same time, same channel. 'Night.

It's a fitting response to Avon's 'You couldn't possibly understand' superiority.

Well thank you for a lovely rewatch.
I may not be able to join you next week as I am on holiday down in deepest darkest Devon. Apart fron a weak Wi Fi signal, there is also just one TV and somehow I don't think Dearest or Daughter No 1 will want to watch Voice from the past...especially as Daughter No 1 has still not forgiven Uncle Tel for 2nd Jan 1978 when most of my attention was diverted from her.
Still, I can always just sit there and think of that nice flowing black shirt in the first few minutes....

With voices boring enough to put anyone to sleep!

That is the 1st of only 2 great moments in the entire episode!

Hope you have a great holiday, Sue, even without Shivan.
Good night all. Nice to hear from you!
