Very convenient that Cally and Avon's memory tubes are just sitting there. And how does Tarrant know that they're the right ones?

He doesn't. There is at least one fanfic I know of where they get swapped. Smile

One interesting thing about "The Human Bonding Ceremony" is that they were unable to extract anything about it from Cally. That rather puts paid to arguments from all the Cally/Avon shippers. Grin

Although it would look/feel quite different to an observer from when you are personally involved. That many human specimens can't all have been virgins. Perhaps the ultras want to look at it dispassionately.

Perhaps they are just voyeurs , , ,

But even dispassionately they must have been aware of what the act looked like. Presumably, they hadn't yet accessed 'The Joy of Sex'.

I think that's pretty much what they are. They don't seem to do anything with all the info. In fact, that's a rather prescient observation on what what we have presently, where there is a mass of information out there to be Googled or Yahoo-ed, or whatever, but it doesn't make the people looking at it any smarter or able to do anything with it.

They just observe and collect – kind of demented museum curators. After all, they say Liberator will be a museum.

Evil Avon grin there. No, that's not a bad ending. And Vila does get to save everyone.

Jokey ending, as usual. I guess it's a stress-release mechanism after what they've been through. This one rates 'medium', for me. Some are a lot worse/less appropriate.

Yes, the Ultras would probably say it's a Standard Human Stress- Release Mechanism. A bit like the gallows humour at the end of Children of Auron.

What would Ultraworld have made of QAnon?

And Avon acknowledges it rather sweetly.

OK, the dog is fed up of me sitting at a screen. Better go throw his toy for him for a while.
Thanks for all the posts - and the learning. Hope you all have a great week. See you next time!
You're not sulking, I hope?

My cat is definitely sulking! Thanks for another enjoyable rewatch. It's Moloch next week, isn't it? Another one with a dodgy effects monster - but it does have Servalan.

You tell that dog to hold his horses while there's valuable viewing to do.

See you next week. Another strange ep. coming up.

Yes, another odd one. I think I like the Core better than the little guy in a dome...

Have a good week!

With 90s shows like Star Trek and Babylon 5, you can see series with a strong start, a strong finish, and a strong middle - and a number of filler episodes between them - something to do with the way they were shown in the US. It feels as though we have hit a bit of a 'filler' run here, before building up to the much stronger Death Watch and Terminal.

Anyway, have a good week, everyone!

Hi guys, Sorry I couldnt make it; I was already scrambling to finish 3 different things and 'mother' called. Hanging up on mother is a little like pulling the pin out of a grenade. The best I could do was let you know I couldnt make it (I hope I didnt sound too curt.) Anyway looks like you had a nice rewatch. I hope to see you next week.
