One of the best episodes of SF TV ever.

Yes. My favourite!

It's fantastic, all the way through.
Climate control has gone wrong on all the frontier worlds (and here on present day dystopian Earth)

Yes, it looks alarmingly familiar now.

I presume Travis didn't tell her, then?
My views are my own.

AVON: It is your assumption that we are entitled to it as well that is irritating.

this durkim/ servalan dialogue is great. Jacs is so good, but this is a really stand out performance. It gives the character so much depth. She was so good.

Servalan's not scared, she's angry. Someone,or something, isn't doing what they were told.
You're not sulking, I hope?

Could be both.
You're in York? Gorgeous city. Went there for a weekend, once.

She was AMAZING - as an actress, and as a person IRL. "Take her for all in all, we shall not look upon her like again..."

I think Servie is both because she doesn't usually doubt. And Travis evidently didn't tell her where Star One is.

It's a nice place to live - small enough to be walkable, lots of history, and good shops and cafes.

For Blake to prove that HE was right.
The dialogue in this scene is some of the best in the entire series.

I think Servie is both because she doesn't usually doubt. And Travis evidently didn't tell her where Star One is.

And that might be something that has alarmed her - she probably thought she could get the information out of him.

It still bothers me that this group of really fine actors never made it bigger.

The tension on both sides is really high throughout this. It's wonderful. Real drama.

Went in search of that portrait of Richard III, visited the Minster, walked around the old city. Who could fail to love a city with a street called Whip-Ma-Whop-Ma-Gate?

Typical Servalan - she has gone from doubting to taking control in a heartbeat.

Anything can be an excuse for a coup . . .
