Hi Obsidian!

I've got stomach ache and indigestion (I think, lol, it's not something I've really had before), so I'll hopefully not have to move much while watching/typing, still it passes. Otherwise, I'm very well, thanks Smile

I hope you feel better soon.

Sands, Obsidian?

Hands up who's seen any sand recently? And I don't mean in redoing your paving.

Sand?? Sorry, what's sand? I've not redone paving before, so maybe that's the only way to come across this sand stuff... Pfft

Hi Obsidian! Just come back from Portsmouth visiting Ethan so I have seen sand. I hope you are well?

Hi Meegat, glad you could make it. Best Wishes to the Birthday boy. Evious of your seaside sojourn.

Thank you. It's not a proper beach, though I guess you could just about call some of it sand it's more stones and shingle really. Weather was proper filthy too but somehow managed to enjoy it. Think the drinks and food helped!
GARETH THOMAS: Paul is a very generous man, as a human being and as an actor. The programme couldnít have been made if we hadnít got on. Our working relationship was magic.

No such luck. Last time I saw sand was in January when I visited family in Tasmania.

No such luck here either. Not even seen a desert which is the usual way I get to see it. Sad

Hi Mrsbookmark, Joe, Tyce, Travisina.
Looking forward to this!

Hi Clare!
This is one of my fave eps.

There's a lot going on in it. Those with a lot of depth/action are faves with me.

And it's beautifully written and played. For an ep that's entirely studio-bound, it's super atmospheric.

I think in this the studio setting is perfect for the atmos. The green works so well. And Tanith Lee is so inspired too.

Hello Meegat. Congrats to your son on his 21st. I hope you get to see him on his birthday, lol, but I'm glad for him he managed to get out to celebrate!

I rather like the sand pouring down and the overall effect. Kinda horror.

One of Servalan's very best lines!
"There are no women like me..."
You can tell that Tanith Lee and Jacqueline Pearce were friends Smile
My views are my own.

VILA: I'm entitled to my opinion.
AVON: It is your assumption that we are entitled to it as well that is irritating.

Sorry to hear about your indigestion. You are sure it is that! I don't want to alarm you but people have been known to mistake heart issues with indigestion etc. Get well soon.

The way the CSO (or whatever it is) ripples a bit as they walked across the landscape gave it a sort of dreamy, unreal atmosphere.

And how do you catch a unique Servalan?

Unique up behind her. (and then get shot of course.)
