Thank you.
My dear old Dad used to tell us the story about me and Anne finding a giant snowball and helping Santa, every Xmas Eve. I asked my sister how,it went but she cannot remember, but the gist of it is as I've written.
And every Easter, he would tell us the story of me and Anne finding a giant Easter Egg and helping the Easter Bunny deliver all the choccie eggs.
I wish I could remember all the stories he once told us...and all made up in his head, not a book in sight.
I can faintly remember a tale about Donald Duck and his nephews which left Anne and I in stitches, we laughed so much, but, again, what they got up to I cannot remember.

Welcome bah humbug songs. Great trumpeting from Brad and then Christmas sentiment from Sue. Lovely end to my day.

Wow that’s clever Cygnus! Couldn’t agree less with you about Sarcophagus but still an enjoyable read!

Thanks, Annie! I know, I know - I'm (inexplicably) in the minority where Sarc is concerned. But it's a burden I've learnt to bear with fortitude down the years.

Dear Mr CB
Very clever A-Z...I take it you don't like Sarcophagus much?

That was great fun Cygnus and so clever!

I love the fact that throughout the whole month, the sign-up thread has consistently had lots more views than the Advent Calendar itself.

Anniew
Joe, the advent calendar is the light of my December days. And your photOGshopping is hilarious, affectionate, and so so clever.

That was hilarious, Joe Dredd! And now I have a reason to decline egg nog every year that won’t get me labeled as a Scrooge.

Gorgeous and poignant, Annie! Quality!

Nifty t-shirts, Joe Dredd. Set of coasters and a tea-towel, please, when you're ready.

Coasters we've got, but tea towels are out of stock at the moment CB. We do have fluffly bath towels.

For those moments - and I'm sure we've all had them - when we think, "What my home needs is more Moloch!"

What a beautiful tribute to Chris Boucher, Annie.

And I love Og and dOg as well, and the Blakes 7 alphabet was brilliant (meant to pot this yesterday and the day before, but was too busy . . .)

Thanks for the update, Joe. Greatly appreciated. This has quite turned my head. I don't suppose you've got any of your Moloch 'Mocha Time' Gift Sets left? Flying off the shelves, I expect.

I’m sorry, CB. I think we may have sold out. Have a look in aisle three, though. If we do have any they’ll be there, just past Hammocks for Hommiks and next to the Jarvik for Men aftershave.

World-class, Joe!

Would your suppliers be able to get me a copy of 'Five (Plus Two) Have a Rebellion to Incite', 'Five (Plus Two) Nick a Spaceship', 'Five (Plus Two) Imbibe Lashings of Soma' or anything else from that series? Suggestions welcome.

What a lovely story. I wonder if David Jackson had any idea just how much that Teddy gift of his would inspire so many stories.

I don't think I know this one - I had heard that a teddy, supposedly Avon's, kept appearing out of shot in the conversations between Blake and Avon in 'Terminal', but that's all I know. Did David give it to Paul Darrow?

David gave the teddy to one of the make up ladies, Sheelagh I think, and this teddy kept on appearing all over the place until turning up in that blooper in the scene in Terminal... which is why Mr D roared with laughter.

What a beautiful story, Hugbot. Balloons come over my house often - I'm not going to look at them in the same way again now.

littlesue
Dear Mr Huggy
I had cleared the area around my computer with some trepidation before I opened your entry for the Advent calendar yesterday, just in case, you understand. Tea and Tomato Soup do not mix with a keyboard.
But I was pleasantly surprised. What a lovely story. Thank you.

And Ellen
You have the proof...just need to convince those Trekkies now.
It has also reminded me that I need to put my Libby on the Xmas tree!!!

Absolutely definitive, I'd say, Ellen. Thanks for clearing that up.

And Huggy - thank you again. Your descriptive writing is a lesson to us all - and not even your first language. Respect!

So sorry to hear about Zelda, Obsidian - she looks a lovely cat.

littlesue
Yes, sorry to hear about your Zelda. A lovely cat by the looks of her.
And the Transformer...my lovely Daughetr Sarah loved the Cartoon and could transform the toys in an instant! Grandson has now taken on her collection.

And Og
Well what can one say? Briiliant!! Go to the top of the class!!!Pfft

So much catching up.

Huggy - such a wonderful piece of writing!
Anne - lovely Teddy story.
Ellen - I am awestruck - a crew of six rattling around in a spaceship so so much bigger than one with a crew of hundreds!
Obsidian- I am so sorry to learn that you have lost your beautiful Zelda. ❤️
Og… a reminder that even in times of loss laughing is important and your quiz made me laugh a lot,
