i think the commentator on the 2 man bobsleigh event at the Winter Olympics may be a B7 fan, after saying earlier that a competitor was "down and safe" at the bottom of the run. Mmmphhh.

Just looking up episodes of Z Cars that we haven't watched. We find one...and guess who's in it?... keep watching and you'll see another... https://youtu.be/_YejWLz739A And Reverend Vargas was a regular. Vargas WAS Z Cars for me as a young-un, as was Belkov. Too bad Frank Windsor wasn't in B7 because that would have made it the trifecta. Of course, a younger Avon made it in a couple of times. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

As well as Derek Farr in The Saint, I also saw Harry Fielder as a...security guard...in Space 1999. AND those polystyrene rocks from Hostage turned up on Moonbase Alpha too...

As well as Derek Farr in The Saint, I also saw Harry Fielder as a...security guard...in Space 1999. AND those polystyrene rocks from Hostage turned up on Moonbase Alpha too... You beat me to it, the lovely Ensor senior in The first episode of the Saint...and in drag!!! And the glorious steam trains!!! Spotted Donald Douglas (Major Grenlee in Rumours of Death) in A Bridge Too Far (1977). As he did in RoD, he was mortally injured and as he lay dying, I said 'Some days are better than others, section leader'. Had to! And then on UFO, The Psycho Bomb, (1970) none other than David Collings (Deva from Blake) was in this episode. Although having nothing to do with Blake's 7, also spotted was a young Christopher Timothy, or James Harriot from All Creatures Great and Small as a submarine crew member of SHADO. Resist the Host

Well apart from the lovely Derek Farr starring in a film entitled Spellbound or Passing Clouds over the weekend on Talking Pictures, I'm pretty certain that the lovely David Jackson turned up again in Maigret. His name wasn't on the credits and I've looked at the episode on IMBD and he is not listed on that either. Pretty certain it was him though...same hat and smoking like a trooper, but not snaffling Maigret's lunch as he did a few weeks ago!!!!

I've decided to rename Talking Pictures, The Robert Beatty, Derek Farr and Kevin Stoney Channel! In Wednesday's episode of Edgar Wallace, the very young Kevin was snuggling up to the hero's wife and then ended up in the sewers of London having a right old punch up with said hero!!! Cold! Our very own Blake as the naughty Joseph Harrison in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes episode 'The Naval Treaty'. Another lot of TV viewing I missed back in the day thanks to living in parts of the world where shows such as this were not screened. Interestingly, Dallas WAS screened, all dubbed into Arabic. In North Africa (other than Egypt) it was shown in French. I did manage to see the last Sherlock Holmes series when it aired here in Australia. Who else from B7 will appear? Watched Bergerac and in an episode written by Robert Holmes, Nick Brimble, the general in Traitor, got blown up in it. Just put The Sweeney on and Ensor's son, Nagu and Professor Kayn all turned up in quick succession. Nice little earners.
