Fantastic news! Well done Team Blake Smile
My views are my own.

VILA: I'm entitled to my opinion.
AVON: It is your assumption that we are entitled to it as well that is irritating.

OK... this may backfire on me and I apologise in advance if it isnít an OK thing to do, but I have an idea.

We all know that a convention of 200 people in a village hall isnít a good idea this Summer, and I have NO INTENTIONS of breaking government rules; but IF the so-called Road Map goes to plan, and IF itís just a small group of us and IF it is deemed safe (circumstances may change at short notice) does anybody still feel like going to Abingdon and meeting up for a drink or a picnic or something? Even if itís just for a day. Iím assuming my B and B booking is still going ahead at the moment and I donít want to put them off again. I have been feeling pretty lonely and isolated and would so love to meet some of you again.

Assuming it would be safe and legal to do that, would anybody else be up for it?

[/quoter]

Hopefully if it's dry we will all be sat outside The Knights Templar in Bristol on Saturday 17 July. By then all the restriction will have been eased in the programme remains on track. It has lots of outdoor seating and will be re-opening on 12 April. You're not the only who's been feeling isolated during Lockdown

Very excited about the new date! My feelings are that this time it's really going to go off (I was doubtful enough about this year that I hadn't bought flights yet), and I couldn't be happier about this!

I host a B7 Discord server, and since a few tickets became available again, several people from the group that did not have tickets before have managed to pick them up. This includes four Americans and two or three Aussies. Everyone is saving their pennies and looking forward to raising one for PD and the best fandom ever next July!

It was sad (but expected) to hear about cancellation for this July. But I'm already getting excited for the next July!
Thank you so much Team Blake for giving us something wonderful to look forward to. Smile I hope 3rd time is the charm and everything works out for next Summer.

Good Morning to all from Team Blake. Under different circumstances we, along with some of you and some of Paul's friends and colleagues, would have all been gathering at Steventon today for 'Forever Avon' to celebrate the one and only Mr Paul Darrow. Alas this is not to be, and we all have to wait another year until Sunday 10th July 2022 to get together. Today we will be posting some photos and videos to tide us over until we can all come together in person. It has been a tough year and a half for many, so take a pause today, remember the good times and cling on to the happy memories. Take care, stay safe and hope you enjoy some of 'these' happy memories.....

I will do my best to post stuff from facebook here ...........but not everything is compatible.

The Way Back. Team Blake memories
Today would have been the day we were all together celebrating Forever Avon, but alas circumstances have yet again prevented this. Hope you all enjoy the video of good times past, and hopefully a flavour of what is yet to come.

Hope the link works, it is 'public' so you 'should' be able to view without a facebook account.

Well now, hope you have all had breakfast, or lunch, or dinner, depending on where you are in the world! Have a great Sunday and hopefully you will be able to squeeze in a bit of Blake's 7 at some point today.

Team Blake Forever Avon Virtual Exhibition:

Today you would have been able to see lots of original props and costumes from Blake's 7 at Forever Avon, unfortunately it will be a little while before we can do that in person. So please join us on a virtual tour of some of our past exhibitions and displays, hope you enjoy them.

Again, hope the link works..............more later, hopefully.

The name is Darrow, Paul Darrow.
A very quick tribute video that Team Blake produced when the very sad news of Paul's passing broke. Paul was due to join us all at the Jacqueline Pearce celebratory event 'Maximum Power', but sadly it was not to be. Hope you enjoy some of Paul's magnificent moments as, well now, you know his name, Avon.

Team Blake have not only put on our own events but we have supported many others. As part of the social side of things we have been to many of the locations used in the filming of Blake's 7, we hope you enjoy this brief overview.

For some reason I am thinking of His Grace, the Duke of Ankh Morpork, Commander Sir Samuel Vimes, tasting one of CMOT Dibbler's sausages inna bun.

Thank you for posting those vids, Andy! They made me smile again.
This morning my calendar's alarm woke me up and I thought, ??? What special could there be today? It's nobody's birthday as far as I know, and there's nothing special about work. So I took a look at the notification ... Oh, yes! Forever Avon Convention!
But, no, postponed, was the second line in the notification.
Aw... That hurt a lot.
I hope next year we will be able to meet again!

Hi all! Is anyone in touch with either of the pubs in Steventon? They seem rather permanently closed?

Far too soon to come to that conclusion, but even if they are, there are always the hotels in Didcott about a mile away. I'm sure we can arrange some shuttlecraft.

I know TT will give you a ride if you buy him a beer.
