Hi all,

Not really a fan of any sport, but when it comes to F1 I prefer to buy the DVD of all the crashes at the end. One it is a little more exciting, and they always put some good rock music on it.

Poor little Mini-Michael (Seb )... how dare his team-mate be faster than he is. There's going to be a lot of dummy throwing this season. Grin

Looks like the McLaren comeback in Australia was a false dawn as, despite have the Mercedes engine, normal service has now been resumed... Grin

hmmm... four straight Hamilton/Rosberg one twos! And people said Red Bull domination was dull Grin

Missed the race being in Denmark for most of this week.. I think unless the other engine manufacturers and teams can pull something amazing out of the bag.. Team Mercedes lead will become too much to overcome.

The difference is the Mercedes are allowed to race each other, whereas at Red Bull, Mark Webber always had to play second fiddle to mini-Michael.

Oh dear Mr Rosberg - was there any need for that?

This season is going to degenerate now - there's a line and Rosberg has crossed it today.

Similar to Schumacher in 2006.

With Hamilton on a quick lap, Rosberg deliberately loses control, realises he's gone too far off the track, so reverses a bit, so the yellow flags come out, Hamilton has to slow down and Rosberg takes pole.

This could be an interesting title fight after all then! A bit of a duel... Grin

What an amazing race yesterday, albeit helped along with some mechanical issues so not really a true impression of how close Mercedes rivals actually are. Shame about the accident on lap 70, but good that both drivers are okay. Definately the most exciting race of the year so far though!

Yes actually watched this (first for a while)

Mercedes dominate the field. Christian Horner is kidding himself when he says they are closing the gap. Well okay its true if the two mercedes develop issues when racing against each other too hard, wear out their brakes and attach an anchor to the back of the two silver arrows to slow them down.

Quite a lot of gamesmanship going on between the 2 silver arrows boys, management needs to nip that in the bud and them rein both in a bit.

I think Niki Lauda will sort out his drivers now. He's let them race against each other, but now they're doing it to the extent where they are killing the cars, although the electrical fault yesterday didn't help either.

Great win for Riccardio, though. Took his time and made his moves at the right time. Vettel will be kicking himself for not winning that one.

Glad the drivers in the incident were OK - they both took quite an impact. Replays suggest Perez, not Massa, was at fault. Perez has been penalised by the stewards.

Perez does have a record of making mistakes..
Pity really as otherwise he was having a good race.

Lauda is the man.. Sure he'll sort things out. Riccardo had a brilliant race but I wouldn't get too used to being in front of a Mercedes.. Their package and team lineup is superb (understatement!)

Yesterday's race was proof that the older tracks produce the best races. Next up is Austria in a fortnight on a much truncated version of the original track, the Osterreichring. I would lay a sizeable bet that the race wont be nearly as eventful.

This is a rare event... an all-Williams front row for the Austrian GP tomorrow!! Oops

What a spectacular circuit that is for the Austrian race! The scenery is amazing and a really nice backdrop for a motor race; and that was pretty good too, with an excellent result for the Williams of Bottas and Massa behind the usual Mercedes 'one two' finish...

Claire @ Williams should be commended for motivating the team , providing a good aero package coupled effectively with a Mercedes engine..
Driver line-up is good too, IMO they do need to be a little more consistent in pit stops. (although they arent too shabby there either)

An excellent British Grand Prix today with some fantastic competetive driving skills on display, especially from Alonso and Vettel in a terrific wheel to wheel duel. Finally a British winner again with Lewis Hamilton closing the gap in the championship, but the really notable performances were all behind him with a brilliant strong second for Bottas in the Williams and a great 4th and 6th for McLaren!
