I'd better get out tomorrow and prune the buddleia.

I wonder if Lector is related to Hannibal?

Tarrant is doing quite well as a Blake substitute, poor planning, arrogance etc. I wish we'd seen more of them together.

Wish we'd seen more of Doran, too. Vila could do with a friend.

Well, ultimately, Tarrant's experience with Blake shows that he doesn't do nuance too well. They would have wiped each other out if Avon hadn't got there first.

Exactly. I would have liked to see the build-up, that's all.

It would be good if Doran lasted to the end.

Makes you think twice about 3-D printers, doesn't it?

All that worrying about the kiddies. I would have made the show MORE adult.

I do anyway because most people print plastic, and if there's anything the planet needs less of, it's plastic.

OK, that was fun. Thanks, Ben Steed, even if the props people didn't quite realise your vision for Moloch.
My dog recognised the end music and leapt from fast asleep on the bed to waiting by the door with a toy in his mouth, expecting me to take him out and play. He's done too many rewatches!
OK, time to seee what's going on in St James's Square, if anything. Sleep well, Obsidian!

Well, I enjoyed that. There are some daggy bits but I quite like what it says about renegade troops building their own armies. And people wonder where dictators come from.

An intimate rewatch. I hope I'll be able to catch you all for next week's rewatch MsVirn, but I could be a bit busy as I fly out the following day. Will just have to see how I'm going. Will drop in for THE WORD though.

Grin Pavlov's Dog. Nice talking point – "My dog responds to the B7 credits theme music."

Have a good week MsVirn.

Any song written by ex-convicts wouldn't be printable, let alone broadcastable on TV.

Unlikely. I think that's what they were singing in that room there. Interesting that the convicts are all men – again. Clearly the writers at this time hadn't countenanced some of the really nasty female convicts who came along around that time. They hadn't watched "Within These Walls".

Or Prisoner Cell Block H Grin

Ha! Dayna forgot to refresh her screen!

It's when you get the beach ball of death on the screen that you have to worry.

In case neither of you has a Mac, that's a Mac joke.

I thought that was a Prisoner reference! As in Patrick McGoohan, not the aforementioned Cell Block H.

I also like how Doran is all "Hail fellow well met" but is actually nasty.

He's creepy, and one of the things I hate about this ep. I think we're supposed to find him endearing and Vila-esque, but he really isn't <shudder>

Hi all - well,

Sorry-not-sorry I missed this ep, but I was in London to see the ABBA show.
London was weird, though - all the electronic advertising boards on the Underground were showing only pictures of the Queen. Strange atmosphere.

It was good to dance to ABBA, a much needed reprieve. Tyce, if you're reading this - WASN'T THE SHOW AMAZING?! My friend and I didn't get seats, we were on the dance floor, right at the front, for the show. and afterwards carried on dancing at the Snoozebox Hotel bar across the road. My hip may never forgive me, but it was worth it Grin

Yep AMAZING - in fact that's an understatement. I'm so pleased you went - and so pleased you loved it! It doesn't matter that you didn't get seats - everyone up dancing anyway!
