The material on the corpse always reminded me of the classic Star Trek medical bay sheets.

I've had a thought - maybe I'm not keen on the beginning (especially) because I have a 'thing' about masks? Anyone else feel the same?

I'm now thinking of that episode in the Next Generation where the corpses all sat up!

"If it really were alien, it might not register as life."
In other words, "It's life, Avon, but not as we know it, not as we know it..."

AnneArthur
If Steven Pacey played a vicar in an eighties sitcom, and Michael Keating played a vicar in Eastenders, is there any record of Paul Darrow ever playing a vicar? Or would a Borgia pope be more his thing?

Avon trying to be comforting is actually oddly touching.

Poor Cally. She is grieving for her home planet and the rest of the crew is being quite mean to her.

Do we ever get a reason why they take the egg-thing back to the Liberator? Or is it just the influence of the alien?

I assume the egg thing held the alien's essence and it compelled Cally to carry it to Liberator.

Two Cally's in this episode... if it were two Dayna's, you can bet Huggy would have favored us with a fan fic by now.

Paula stand right and slightly forward of Brad, so we are talking about the same queue.

It's Avon who tells Vila to pick it up, though, so it must be affecting all of them.
