I'm not sure that I like these people. All this talk of decadence and barbarism, and a new system where they can expand . . . Interesting point. Are we fooled by their passivity, the robes and long-hair into thinking they're a peaceful people? Maybe they're as bad as the Federation. But the Federation exists only to serve its citizens, bringing peace and order to all. QED ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() There is no point being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes

Brilliant male misunderstanding of what the woman is saying. Best bit of writing in the script. So true to life, LOL There is no point being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes

Just as a matter of interest - WHERE ARE ALL THE AUSSIES today?

Just as a matter of interest - WHERE ARE ALL THE AUSSIES today? I've no idea. We had Pilot for a while, but no sign of Tyce / Obsidian. There is no point being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes

These 'simple peaceful people' can deal very effectively with the guards when necessary. |

Poor Kerril! She doesn't even know if Vila lives or dies.

So - what have we learned today? Studs are indicative, height is an assumption and 'peaceful' means they don't care about anyone else?

Poor Kerril! She doesn't even know if Vila lives or dies. And Vila never gets to meet his son (sorry, I made that bit up). There is no point being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes

Thanks for the rewatch, everyone. See you next week - hopefully with a few of our absent friends as well. |

City isn't one of my favourites (could you tell?) but it has its good points. And it was much more fun to watch it with you. Bayban is my favourite 'badddie' (even outranking Boris the Kairopan spider). Glad you could watch VIla at his best, Travisina. Although 'Orbit' has to come a close second, surely?

It's a fun episode. And I would agree with you about Bayban - other than Servalan and Travis, of course! |
