 Big Finish CD delivery Timescales

I was wondering, has anyone received the cd set for Heroes & Villains yet? I'm still waiting for mine. The cd releases seem to be taking longer and longer to arrive after release date. I have friends that buy many of their Doctor Who releases and they also seem to take an age. Does anyone know whats happened and why they now take so long. They never used to. Have I missed any post/announcement from BF concerning this? I havent sent BF a message yet as I am aware, from friends, that this now a common issue. I'll wait a bit longer. Thanks in advance for any info |

Being old school myself and having ordered from other fandoms, I have ceased expecting cd orders to turn up on time. Even books don't turn up on time. BF did say that anyone ordering H & V on cd would have to wait a little longer. As Paula says drop them an email if you are concerned. I am getting horizontal about delivery times on items like this...

I just hate to seem impatient, although I feel the covid explanation is wearing a bit thin now after so long. I'll give it til the end of the first week in July before messaging them. wall1885- I haven't heard from Big Finish yet. It's been three days and no answer to my email enquiry. I do hope it's just a glitch in their delivery. I realized things aren't running as they used to but still!

Spoke with BF today - this was the main part of their reply ''Unfortunately we haven’t received the stock of Heroes and Villains in as of yet and for this reason we haven’t been able to dispatch them We will of course have these sent out as soon as we can for you, but in the meantime please be aware you do have access to the download also if you’d like to listen to it sooner'' So not really much info other than they're still waiting for it to arrive themselves |

just to update you all Big Finish emailed me 1st August to confirm my cd Boxset has now been dispatched - so hopefully everyone that is waiting for this will receive theirs in the next few days |

just to update you all Big Finish emailed me 1st August to confirm my cd Boxset has now been dispatched - so hopefully everyone that is waiting for this will receive theirs in the next few days After my second email to Big Finish I finally got an answer to my question and then yesterday got notification that the discs are on their way- so perhaps a 3 week wait and I'll have them from ordering on April 20th. I emailed BF last week about this set. Got the answer we usually get and then I got home today to find it had been delivered! I hadn't spotted my notification email on Monday. All's well that ends well. nearly 3 months from original release date is the worse I have experienced. While I am so glad its arrived and wont stop buying them, it has put me off pre ordering them. But whats the solution? Should they release them once cd's are in stock? That means a longer wait to listen to them, I always grab the download anyway and listen to that as soon as possible. Maybe I'm just a grumpy impatient middle aged git? But I just dont believe/accept that the delays are covid related any more. I know I should at least be happy that BF are still creating new decent B7 stories for me to enjoy. |

No you are right. Something else is going on. They need to be up front about it: "We do not employ enough people to meet demand due to us trying to recoup losses" or something like that. Not sure that NOT pre-ordering will make things better though. Silflay hraka, u embleer rah!
