Picture quality seem to improve with the third episode. (No, I'm not yet watching, just checking the YT links... hope to join you on Wednesday.)

Spotted Peter Bowles as the short lived Mr Grant.
Also Pennant Roberts as director.
Funny how having lived with Covid for two years that it seems inconceivable that people were getting close and not wearing masks in Survivors. Probably wouldn’t have struck me more than two years ago.
Fabulous women’s clothes.

In the Spanish Flu Pandemic people wore cloth face-coverings. So known to Scientists, just not to SF writers!!

Nixxie
I presume the writers wanted it to spread quickly so no face coverings Wink

Exactly. They've only had 50 minutes to kill the whole human population Wink

Evening all! Frown

At least the first episode is also on Daily Motion in far better quality:#

I actually do have the DVD, but I haven't them with me in my Fuhlsbüttel exile (and they wouldn't be of any use to me as there is also no DVD player in this flat).

Nixxie
I have popcorn to munch on whilst watching... not sure if it is appropriate, but I got a popcorn maker for Xmas!

Thank Kiroc??? Are you trying to provoke TT? Grin

By the way, there is something different about your avatar. I was scratching my head for a few days, but now I think I know it! It's cropped differently, isn't it? Previously, the second eye wasn't visible!

You also have to remember that this is fiction and being acted by actors who would not approve of their faces being covered while they worked. It's one thing to be playing a doctor or scientist with a mask, but the entire crew? We'd never be able to know one from the other! LOL

I don't know why, but for some reason I have to think of Sinofar...

Nixxie
I remember at the first time of watching liking that they invoked modern travel as a 'good' way of spreading the virus... now we know it to be true of course.

trevor travis
Meet Abby Grant, upper-class housewife!

Nixxie
White tennis balls!! I remember those & it really dates the series. didn't they change to yellow through TV?
