AUK Studios are now recording their third audio adventure with Tom Baker as the retired Sir Sherlock Holmes, with John "Pascoe/Toise/K9" Leeson as the faithful Dr Watson. If they can get up to 400 backers - just five more are needed - they will include a vignette with Holmes' retired housekeeper, Mrs Hudson, played by B7 costume designer June Hudson. Check out the Kickstarter campaign here: Click!  Another lovely thing about these CDs is they also include Nicholas Rowe, famous for playing the lead in Spielberg's Young Sherlock Holmes. He had another fleeting cameo as the 'movie' Sherlock Holmes in "Mr Holmes" with Sir Ian McKellen. The productions also record some of the last recordings made by the late great Norman Eshley, perhaps best known as Mr Fourmile in 'George & Mildred'.  |
