Steven Pacey is the Voice of Rat King in Dark Souls II

B7 Cast and CrewSteven Pacey plays the Rat King in Dark Souls II , the highly anticipated sequel to the 2011 breakout hit Dark Souls. The unique old-school action RPG experience captivated the imaginations of gamers worldwide, and was universally acclaimed on its release. Reviews for Dark Souls II have praised its difficulty, atmosphere, and visuals.

The Rat King is a noble being. Long ago, an agreement was reached between humans and rats and for a time, there was peace. However, the humans' insatiable greed eventually led to bigger explorations underground, causing the deaths of many innocent rats. The King is determined to exact revenge on his foes for betraying his trust and defiling the rats’ sacred ground. You can watch a dialogue scene here: Rat King Speaks

The game was released for consoles in March 2014 and for PCs in April 2014. More information can be found here Dark Souls 2 and on Thetis' excellent website stevenpacey.com.

Josette Simon to Run Dementia Information Session on 16th July

Josette Simon is looking for members of the public to sign up to attend a Dementia Friends information session that she is running on 16th July at Hornsey Library, Crouch End at 4.30pm. It is part of Alzheimer's Society's Dementia Friends programme, an initiative to help members of the public understand what it might be like to live with dementia, and turn that understanding into action. Alzheimer's Society is aiming to have one million Dementia Friends by 2015, to help make England more dementia-friendly and improve the lives of the 670,000 people currently living with the condition.

Josette Simon became a Dementia Friends Champion in April 2014. She said: "I signed up to be a Dementia Friends Champion because it personally means a lot to me to support such a great cause. I'm so proud to be part of a growing network of people helping to create dementia-friendly communities across England and urge people in Hornsey to attend my information session to find out how they can make the town more dementia-friendly."
