Julian Glover returns in The Scottsboro Boys

B7 Cast and Crew
Julian Glover returns as the Interlocutor in The Scottsboro Boys

Following last year's sold out run at the Young Vic, Kander and Ebb’s exhilarating, dazzling and provocative musical transfers to the Garrick Theatre in London's West End for a limited run. Julian Glover returns to the role of the Interlocutor, the only white character in this otherwise all-black musical.

The Scottsboro Boys tells the true story of nine young black men who were falsely accused of rape by two white women while travelling on a train through Scottsboro, Alabama in the 1930s. Their subsequent trials and appeals deeply divided the nation.

The Scottsboro Boys is bold, wildly inventive and a daring modern classic of musical theatre. It was nominated for 12 Tony Awards and 6 Olivier Awards, and won the Critics' Circle Best Musical Award 2013.

The show opens at the Garrick Theatre, Charing Cross Road, London WC2H 0HH on 24th October, with previews from 4th to 23rd October. Full booking details here: Scottsboro Tickets.
