I like this bit, where they kind of admit they are a family.

Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

Even though I've fascinated by Avon, he really can be a jerk. That can never be forgotten.

For a man with military training, why does Tarrant go on a covert tracking mission wearing a red coat?!

It's part of what makes the end so depressing. Almost holds out hope, then crushed it B7 style.

This computer voice sounds like the old rebellion leader from the Way Back.

The same reason as Cally the Guerrilla fighter does missions in a Leopard print jacket Oops

I find this episode difficult character wise, because Avon is both secretive and stupid when the premise of the scenario doesn't justify or explain it. If he's looking for Blake, there's no reason why the crew wouldn't follow him willingly; and he gains no advantage from not having support.

And the station tannoy voice in Doctor Who: The Mutants? Might be wrong, but it sounds similar.

The sphere voice was David Healy, a very well known tv actor and Gerry Anderson voice artist in the 60s...

"So he is alive. Blake is alive."

What does he mean by that? Is he happy to save him or is it more of a wanting to settle the score.

Much confusion has been caused over the years by the director not making it clearer that Avon is in a dream sequence of sorts.

I always go the impression he kind of resented Blake. That he felt he had to keep going and just was angry. Something like that.

To the point of reinventing himself as an assassin? That's a different theory to what's been suggested before! You should start a thread on the question and see what comes out of the idea!
