I can imagine Michelle's rolled eyes whenever Servalan uses that gun in a very err sexual way. Made me laugh every time.

Anna: "Hey Avon, I've got this independent revolution thing going on without you. Now we can join up!"
BANG!

Another 17 episodes or so later...

Blake: "Hey Avon, I've got this independent revolution thing going on without you. Now we can join up!"

Regret is part of being alive, but you've got to keep it a small part.

A very, very small part, it seems.

Have you ever seen "Blake's Junction 7"?

No. What is it?

Blake's Junction 7 is a spoof movie, featuring our heroes in a motorway service station. Stars, among others, Martin Freeman as Vila, Mark Heap as Avon, Jonny Vegas as Blake and ... er... Peter Tuddenham as Orac

It's on YouTube - https://www.youtu...WuTeR7xCU4

That was awesome. This is what SF TV should be at it's best.

This is SF TV at its best - strong human drama, that just happens to take place in an SF setting. Only matched, imo, by the new Battlestar Galactica.

Thanks all. I had a great time. Maybe next week it won't be doing that strange time warp thing and I can follow comments better. might be a problem with my browser.

Nice to have you with us, Mrs Bookmark.
The strange time warp thing isn't your browser, it's Horizon's host server - an annoying, intermittent 'feature' that we're still trying to resolve.

And thats why this is one of the best hours of TV ever. Avon and Anna's confrontation.

And of all the Avon-Servalan showdowns, this is the best.
Credit, I think, to the director - the late Fiona Cumming - for getting such powerful yet understated performances from two actors with a tendency to go a bit OTT.

So how come in Children of Auron Servalan had such a rickety old tub of a spaceship but now she's so rich and powerful.

Actually, I like the design of her crocodile ship. The shape is a way of camouflage ... who can just pretend to be an asteroid.

Perhaps it's an Andromedan ship captured during the intergalactic war. "If I can't have Blake's alien spaceship, I'll have that one."

I didn't think Grenlee and Forress were that bad.
