As spoiler free as I can make it....

These events will almost certainly be different in the books, as the television episode does not fit the prophecies, but IMHO it was a truly awesome television episode with a stand up and cheer ending.

Do you think GM will actually get around to writing the books? It was hard enough to get book 3 out of him! And now that it's been done on tv...

I have to admit I felt, for want of a word, whelmed!

I was neither over nor under whelmed by episode 3. It was good, don't get me wrong, but too dark (picture quality) and too drawn out. Credulity was stretched somewhat that certain characters were over-run by the enemy and yet came out unscathed.

The ice dragon can destroy a whole building when it breathes on it but when after a major character, said person hides behind a wall and the ice-fire just goes through the open door not destroying anything around it.

However, the sequence in the library was tense and the music over the last 5 minutes or so was very emotional.

It will be interesting to see how the second half of this season pans out.

It's amazing. We are totally hooked on the series. It's one of those few series where the story, writing and acting is all superb.
Zil: Oneness must resist the Host.

Going through a Clint Eastwood season at the moment (just to get new ideas for new stories/scripts, hoping I can sell at least one before I die) - the "Dirty Harry" pentalogy, the "Dollars" Westerns, "Unforgiven", the man is Badass with a Capital B.

I love Clint Eastwood. Have you seen this performance of The Good, the Bad & the Ugly by the Danish National Symphony Orchestra? It's awesome! Click!

I love Clint Eastwood. He is incredible as an actor but if You had to say what it is that makes him so good, what would you say? For me, it is something unquantifiable...he's got IT!
I saw 1st Dirty Harry at my local cinema a few years back...a film I am very familiar with but on the big screen! WOW! The power of the film and his performance!

A memory: on the steps of our local ABC cinema after going to see Paint Your Wagon. My mother noticed my coat wasn't fastened - it was a cold evening - then she discovered that there wasn't a single button left on it! Telling off time!

I finished watching season 7 of Birds of a Feather which was actually funnier than I remembered

Started season 10 of The Two Ronnies and boy it is painful now. A couple of laugh out loud moments only per episode. Interestingly from this season the episode count is reduced to six per year.
