I admire your ability to stick with a series when you say you are going to do a start to finish rewatch. I am very easily distracted. I start watching Buffy, then someone mentions The Champions...Callan...Merlin...BSG...it goes on. I end up with box sets piled up on the floor. Clutter free I am not.
Incidentally, if you are on the Ts now what is your early part of the alphabet next rewatch?

I am on the Bs at the moment, season 4 of Birds of a Feather will be next. However, just as I finished season 6 of The Two Ronnies my season 18 Doctor Who Blu-Ray Box Set arrived. That is now my current watch but I am only watching the new extras which weren't on the original dvds. The proper re-watch of my favourite Who season will happen once I get to the Ds Smile

Best movie Oscar....well...

best bond, good feem too!

Lazenby gets such a bad review but if only he had stuck with it - or if they had stuck with him - I think he would have grown into the role. It is a great Bond film. Diana Rigg is the best "co lead"! I think he is very sympathetic in the role.

his very inexperience contributes, and Telly needled him to get that resentment out of him! He cried at the first take of Riggs death, amazing

Oh that still gets me! I like George Baker in it too.

I read somewhere that Mr Lazenby read the last bit of the book and that's why he cried...only for the director to say no...do it again. Somehow, I don't think Mr Connery's version of Bond could have pulled off that.

I agree. Roger Moore couldn't have either, much as I like both actors.

Did I say I have been watching Public Eye with Alfred Burke? Well not WITH Alfred Burke, he is IN it...
This is due to my younger brother's penchant for Thames TV. Public Eye is a definite grower. Frank Marker is a really interesting character. You kind of get into it without realising it's happening and there you are having watched 2-3 episodes on the bounce.

I can't think of any series that is comparable to this. To say it is about a private eye misses the point somewhat. I start each episode thinking I won't be interested and by the end I am enthralled. It makes me question all my assumptions. Quietly brilliant.

Watched the animated Doctor Who - The Macra Terror. I chose the B&W version as I wanted to maintain continuity as that era was transmitted in B&W.

This story has never grabbed me and I only recently listened to the audio so I found my attention wandering somewhat. The animation is good, though some of the characters (Polly in particular) look nothing like the actor.

I will watch the extras and the colour version with the commentary on at the same time.

Birds of a Feather season 4 isn't going to be started until next week it seems with all this Doctor Who which has popped through my letter box over the last week or so!!
