Get well soon, GC. Smile

As for me? I'm watching "Angel's Egg", a Japanese direct-to-video anime from 1985, which is... I'm not sure how to describe it, to be honest. There isn't much dialogue, and the film is more heavy on visual symbolism and metaphors than any actual plot to speak of - it's interpretive. It can be viewed (with English subtitles) here: https://www.youtu...IhKqaNp4Dc

"Legend" by Ridley Scott from 1985, starring a young Tom Cruise... and it kind of reminds me of what a live-action "Legend of Zelda" movie could be like (apparently, Shigeru Miyamoto was inspired by this film to create LOZ for the NES/Famicom).

I started rewatching some older movies and I just watched "The Ring" again...I have to say, it is very impressively filmed even after all those years and Samara climbing out of the scree is still very creepy Grin

"Ace Ventura: Pet Detective", Jim Carrey's breakout role... and I just want to say that some of the jokes in this movie (despite it being from the mid-1990s) would never fly if it were made today, which is a damn shame, because it's funny as hell. Smile

"Cemetery Man" (original Italian title: Dellamorte Dellamore) by Michele Soavi and starring Rupert Everett, a strange movie from 1994 that blurs the dividing line between motion picture and comic book, fantasy and reality... and, of course, life and death. Smile

Took Charity, Della and mum to see Wonder Woman today and we all loved it. Also if you watch the first 10 minutes carefully you'll spot Josette Simon!

S2 will shortly be drawing to a close. There was (in my opinion) a dip during this series; but only for a couple of episodes and then it came back with a cracker. Start with S1, available on DVD - if you haven't already done so; and indulge in 17th Century France.

Versailles and The Handmaid's Tale are my current 'must watch' shows.

Fargo, series 3.

Watched Rogue One with Della and the wife and found it to be soulless and none of the characters had any charisma. The robot was the only good character. The face CGI looked awful.

So yeah it was kinda boring, but watched it with Rifftrax
