What are you watching?

Watched "Alice: Through the Looking Glass" (2016) last evening and we were snickering quite a bit when we learned that the Mad Hatter's name was Hatter Tarrant Hightopp. He's a ginger too....

"Me and the Alien", a Mexican Spinal Tap-esque drama/comedy about a punk rock band which gets a shot in the arm thanks to a new member in the form of a keyboardist with Down Syndrome.

The wife and I are finding it hard to get through Iron Fist.

I've been watching the MST3K episodes on Netflix, looking forward to the new series next month.

The Godfather trilogy - interestingly (or scarily), I find myself sympathising with Michael Corleone (played expertly by Al Pacino) as I begin to understand why his character does what he does and I ask myself: "How would I act in that situation?" - chances are I'd do what MC does. Do I draw the line at disowning my own brother, though? I don't know. I don't want to think about that right now.

Spoof fly on the wall docu-comedy..

Scarily plausible with a multitude of characters that infest any work place and infuriate their saner colleagues.

Great stuff

I haven't watched it yet, but recently bought Shameless - Series 1 and 2. (I know, I am very late to this party - I've only previously watched snippets.) But if all the old hype surrounding this show is anything to go by, then I should be in for a real treat.

Raucous, rude, funny & tragic with a warm Northern heart. And if you get series 3 & 4 you'll see the episodes that I edited!

I'm watching Season 2 of "The Last Kingdom" on BBC2. Enjoying it so far, interesting to see how the plot develops as I've not read the books.

Watched "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" on Saturday night. It was interesting to say the least.

The TV series does a good job of adapting the books. I've read all the books (except the most recent) and was very impressed with season 1 of the TV series. The actor playing Alfred is absolutely perfect for the part.

Finishing Grimm. Last episode on Saturday. I hope they will end the series well since they knew it ahead Smile

The 80's classic "Blue Thunder", inspiration for the "Airwolf" television series and "Thunder Blade" arcade game by Sega (and "Super Thunder Blade", the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive-exclusive sequel) and starring the late great Roy Scheider, with Malcolm McDowell doing what he does best. Smile The main theme can be listened to here: https://www.youtu...JiZ4myHjKk

Been watching lots of things.

With the wife we finished the new series of Trailer Park Boys. We're continuing Kimmy Schmidt and we watch an episode of Adventure Time during breakfast.

I'm watching a lot of MST3K and loving it, checked out Werewolf last night. New series tomorrow!

Most of the way through DS9 season 1 and TNG season 6

Victoria with Jenna Coleman as V and Rufus Sewell as Lord Melbourne.

I keep waiting for Rufus Sewel to regenerate, climb into a phone box, and dematerialize.

"Full Metal Disney", which is exactly what it is... a short parody of the classic "Full Metal Jacket" (the opening scene introducing us to Gunnery Sergeant Hartman and the recruits) with Disney voices (Private Joker is Goofy, Private Pyle is Mickey Mouse and GySgt Hartman is Donald Duck). Smile Look for it on YouTube.

Just started watching Season 1 of The Expanse. (I was waiting for the full-season box-set to begin watching it.) So far-- amazing special effects. From the first episode on, they throw you right into the universe without a lot of exposition and you just have to go with it until you're finally following the action. At it's core, it's a mystery story that even features a private eye with a fedora.
I'm still trying to follow the complicated politics of Earth and Mars.

I know, it's excellent, isn't it? Feels like proper sci-fi and looks wonderful.

About 4 more episodes of the new MST3K to go and still loving it. 90 episodes are hard to marathon!

Also rewatched The Force Awakens which is possibly my least favourite movie of all time.... but I watched it with RiffTrax and it was hilarious.
