What are you watching?
Child Of Auron
Series 2 of "Are You Being Served?"

One of the episodes "Cold Comfort" was set on one of the coldest days of the year and there was no heating at Grace Bros.

Very apt considering the weather here over the last couple of days

JustBrad
Stranger Things: S1

Interesting, but a few too many sub plots.

You've got colder weather than we have in Quebec. We are nearly 10 degrees C over our normal average temp for this time of year.

Thankfully the snow has melted and rain is due - I currently am enjoying the heady temperatures of 2 degrees celsius Grin

Started season 2 of Wonder Woman today or The New Adventures of Wonder Woman as it was officially called.

Now set in the 1970s Wonder Woman has returned to help Steve Trevor Jr.

I am not yet sure if I prefer the war time season or not. Nazi villains week in week out was getting a bit tedious though.

I still look forward to each "spin" though

Black Panther...excellent.

I took the youngest two since eldest doesn't have Spring Break yet. They thought it was wonderful even though they aren't into superhero movies . I can't wait to see Shuri and Tony Stark have a tech battle.

eta..the clothing is spectacular for the film. The wardrobe really worked hard to get that African feel to even a suit or dress.

Did anyone watch Derry Girls? It was recently shown on C4. Hilarious; sharp writing: I looked forward to every episode. And yet it didn't forget the times in which the series is set; the final moments in the last episode were particularly poignant.

Highly recommend.

Looking forward to seeing 'Darkest Hour' the film where Gary Oldman just won an Oscar for his portrayl of Winston Chruchill. Seeing it tonight.

Edit: The film was brilliant. No wonder Oldman got an Oscar for his performance.

Anything featuring the late great Rik Mayall - The Young Ones, Filthy, Rich & Catflap, The New Statesman, Bottom, Guest House Paradiso - to mark what would have been his 60th birthday today.

Ah, Rik. Gone far too soon. I loved him in Blackadder, too.

Chicago

Never watched it before and I was surprised how many of the musical numbers I actually knew.

I love Chicago. Those numbers are very catchy and Catherine-Zeta Jones simply *is* sexy in the movie and I am saying that as a woman Grin

Murder on the Rising Star from Battlestar Galactica ‘78.
Did Glen A. Larson (or should that be Glen A. Larcen?) steal the idea for his show from the Blake’s 7 story Mission to Destiny? The character Ortega is murdered.
