Rewatch - Thunderbirds
Spaceship Dispatcher
The Episode: Thunderbirds - The Uninvited
The Date: Friday the 30th of January 2015
The Time: 7.30pm UK time

Sometimes you have several favourite episodes of a series, but sometimes too you just have one super-favourite episode that is above all others; in all my years as a Thunderbirds fan, that episode for me is, and has always been, The Uninvited...

All are welcome to join Paula and myself for a rewatch of this classic episode.
Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

Given that the Tracys had to keep their identity secret (for reasons never explained) and given that they were self funded (even the governments in Washington and London didn't know who they were), I'm surprised that they didn't take it to the next level; having the Tracys pose an the billionaires they obviously were to deflect attention away from IR.

Rather like the pretense that Lady Penelope kept up in London, and...

Rather like Batman.

Opens up a few more plot lines, at least.

Well, they went around rescuing people, often without being invited. I think they were prototype Chengans.

Glad you enjoyed my Eleventh Doctor fanfic by the way; not as good imo as that for the second Doctor but I was very happy with it nonetheless. There are longer descriptive passages in Castle Bravo, especially the test and the Sea Devils, because I was bursting with visions of what I wanted to express and really enjoyed translating them onto the page.

So why is TB 1 flying over hostile desert territory in the first place. Wasn't he in Tokyo?

The half track was a fantastic model!

It's hard for me to say which story I liked best as they were both good and I could hear the essence of both Doctors in each. The Second Doctor story was pure nostalgia and Eleventh- true to form and I loved the illustration of Clara, ala Amy, if you get my drift. Such a wonderful expression on her face.

I found a Swedish dubbed version online to follow along. It's hilarious.

Scott was always my hero, so a crash story where he ends up fighting villains and escaping a secret base was like official fanfic Grin

Re the campfire. I'd like to point out that while there is no wood in the desert, camel dung will burn

I don't think you're the only one. Scott and TB1 always seem to get the most screen time.

After a year of watching Thunderbirds, I still have no real favorite. Scott and Virgil are great, but one of the blond guys (can't decide) should be my fav....
