Rewatch - D4 Stardrive
trevor travis
The episode: Derek Four - Stardrive
The date: Tuesday, January 27th, 2014
The time: 7.45pm UK time

In which Avon decides to dance with an asteroid, Vila pretends to be drunk in a quite wonderful sequence, Orac really does deserve to be thrown in the rubbish bin for its sheer unhelpfulness, and who is Dr Plaxton in any case?

Everyone is welcome to join us drooling over the long, lingering shots of Soolin, Avon, Soolin, Tarrant and Soolin.

I've got a hunch she might be.... in glorious slow-motion Grin Grin

I think we should say a big thank you to the director: "Hmmm.... this episode is running about five minutes short... shall I get Jim Follett or Chris Boucher to write more dialogue.... no, I know, let's just have several lengthy mood shots of Soolin, Avon and Tarrant" Wink

This ship’s not as good as our last one,
But the Space Rats can make it a fast one.
So we borrowed their drive and got out alive,
And we’ve NEVER heard of Doctor Plaxton.

A reminder that the rewatch of this massively under-rated episode takes place tonight.

Anyone who misses the rewatch will have to fix the Stardrive while in flight and be forgotten about by Avon Shock (I reckon all those blows to the head in "Power" have ruined his short term memory Grin )

Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

I might be joining you one-handed, so to speak, as I eat my dinner with the other. Long day at work, not been home long. Still, a nice piece of fish is in the oven, and rice poised in the microwave.

If TT is allowed to gaze at a certain Blonde gunslinger, can us ladies gaze at a certain rather nice computer expert?

Jenna for one, she is, wisely, not in this episode.

Good thing for Avon, too, she'd fry his eyeballs for losing Libby. 1944

Cool True story.
